Hope everyone has a good day.

I've got the cooker hood fitter coming this morning and the handyman. Need to get dressed and clear the bathroom for him.
While they are here I will be sorting the second bedroom, clearing the garage and trying to sort out the garden.

Letting agent comes on Wednesday - we are getting somewhere!
Have just found out from Northumbria Uni website that the student living areas are Heaton and Jesmond so this is where I won't be living. I need a bit of peace and quiet.

    Morning all

Hope you have a great day with the Balloons Jo.

It's vile and grey and damp here, typically because there's a big free event on in the park.

Todays tasks include decluttering DD2's room, I've persuaded her that if she wants to be grown up enough to have a double bed then some of the 6 million cuddly toys need to be sent to pastures new.

I also need to blanch more runner beans down for the freezer and put in a Mr T's order.

How will I cope with the excitement?

Well, my legs were FUBAR'd after my 10k walk last night, how out of shape am I??? Sore this morning but I will go for a short, easy walk today-I think I will do the London Marathon-I need to raise £1500 and will have a guaranteed place but I think that is do-able with the people I know. So now, I need to keep walking, work my way BACK to running asap and shift this loads of extra weight!

Welcome Lottebear-well done on the holiday win! I would love to pick your brains about competitions-its something I would love to do.

Kayleigh-I will read your info later-I will sponsor you sweets x

Today, I will mostly be hobbling around the house like an old git and maybe ironing, lol

Thanks, that'll be great. :) At the moment, I'm trying to be Cupid/an interfering cow (:rotfl:) with a friend of mine's love life. No one on here, someone I've known since I was little.

Morning all. Got back from my hols last night .....so my day will mostly consist of washing, sorting, tidying, ironing, shopping etc. 1st load already in and I did do a lot of washing (but no ironing) whilst I was away, so hopefully it won't be too bad. Weather here very grey so might have to use the drier!!

Need to get organised for the week ahead as I'm back at work too.

Once I've checked our finances, we may have a takeaway tonight...yummy!!

Right, off to have a shower! Have a great day everyone!!

  • Yeah, I think interfering cow just about sums it up. One day I'll learn when to leave well enough alone. *rolls eyes* The guy she fancies isn't interested. I've just betrayed one of my closest friends' trust for nothing.:cry::cry:
