I was trundling round the boards and found your diary. Can't add anything on the miscarriage, but remember you mentioning it on PAD.
You are really lucky with the mystery shops. I only got 2 in 3 months! And one of those I couldn't do because it was too local and all the staff knew me.

    Keep up the good work.

  • Thanks guys for the words of encouragement. I go in waves with the mystery shopping. Some weeks I have a few others nothing. I just grab what I can when I can.

I had a NSD yesterday but did spend £8.34 today on pre-ordering the new Toy Story 3 DVD that is coming out in November. Will put this away for little girls birthday.

Went round to my friends house and we had a relaxing time. Whilst there she was getting her little girl and mine pick up any apples that were on the ground and put them in the compost. I asked what was wrong with them and she said nothing it was just that she couldn't be bothered to do anything with them. I quickly offered to take some off her hands as it seemed such a waste. I've now got a whole bag full and will be baking with them later on. I also got some leeks and tomatoes as she said she wouldn't use those either. One happy customer here!

I am proud of myself as I have resisted the Next sale - something I've never done in the past and ended up with more stuff than I know what to do with.

Will have to go to Next to get my little girl some trousers as these are in short supply here and it's the only place where I can get trousers to fit her waist. Poor child has been walking around with 'ankle-swingers' and even nursery have mentioned that they are a little too small for her. Will look on Monday to see what they've got.

Anyway, I've also done two loads of washing today and now just need to put the stuff away. This will have to wait as little girl is now fast asleep and if I go upstairs I will wake her. I'm blessed that at the age she is (she'll be 4 in december) that she still sleeps for 3 hours in the afternoon and the whole night as well. :T

  • Not a great day today. Despite having quite a few no spend days I've managed to reach my overdraft limit this month. :o Will need to go back over this months statement as I thought I had been quite good and I've never reached my overdraft limit before. I obviously have spent it just need to sit down tonight and work out where it has all gone. I had to transfer money from my OH account to cover the £40 grocery shop I did today otherwise I would have gone over the limit.
I walk away in shame. :o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:(

I love this weather we're having. Although it has suddenly gone from summer to winter - autumn seems to have been forgotten. This is my favourite time of year and I feel nice and cosy even when I'm outside. I know it's a little weird but I cannot stand the summer. I suppose I have the opposite of SAD.

Been very good and not spent any money since last Thursday when I had to put petrol in my car. Will need to nip out in a while and complete a mystery shop but no purchase is necessary.

Will really need to get my bum in gear and have a major push at selling a load of stuff on ebay. Hopefully at this time of year there'll be more buyers and I have some lovely brand new toys that my little one never played with as she got so much that will sell well - I hope!

Need to carry on with the big tidy and sort out my cupboards. Need to stock up for the winter as I've been a little slack with this this year.

I have one very happy little girl here! We popped out to donate some items to the British Heart Foundation and whilst there my little girl spotted a toy electric guitar. She's been after one for a while and we've told her she'll have to wait for Christmas as they are quite expensive. Well, the one she spotted has loads of functions, buttons to press and generally makes a lot of noise all for the pricely sum of £1.99! I did treat her as she's been really good and has settled well into nursery and it's a real delight watching her be a rockstar all over the living room.:j

Plodding along here and rambling to myself.

Very pleased just made my first ever homemade soup. :j Never been able to get the hang of soup and I know it's meant to be easy but all my other attempts have been disasters. Todays was so good that even my in-laws asked for a second helping and they never do that!

Still trying hard to shift and least one more debt before Christmas and I really do need to get some ebay stuff listed as today is a free listing day and it will be great to carry on the decluttering.

Spent yesterday clearing the front room and you can now see the floor! Shelves are groaning and all around the walls there are boxes of toys but we cannot have everything. Also sorted out the garden - moved a shed and realised just how much room we have.

Hopefully be back later in the week to make sure that I am still motivating myself and being honest! :o

Realised that you meant SOUP, wondered what the in laws were eating! Sorry, makes me look like a teacher :D

Can just imaging your little one dancing round the room with her guitar, its the little things that give pleasure isn't it.

Not been on for a while as I've been feeling very poorly. :o

Money not great at the moment and as I've been poorly I've not done any mystery shopping which means I'm down some money this month. Also had to cancel my tutoring as not been to work.

On a positive note I've got most of this years christmas presents sorted out just need to find them all and allocate them to people. Next year I will have to put labels on the prezzies before I pack them away and make a note of them so that I do not forget who they are for and where I have hidden them!

Been knitting this week and I'm hoping that I'll have some lovely homemade teddies to give as Christmas prezzies as well.

Very pleased that next week is half term and I have two free passes to Legoland as I have volunteered to do some mystery shopping there. My little girl will be very pleased. I also got cheap tickets for Disney on Ice so we're heading down to the O2. Meeting with a friend at the beginning of the week and hoping that the other 2 days I can spend at home relaxing.

Right off to put another load of washing into the machine!
