  • Hello Jedi

Sending you hugs. It's so disappointing every month and if you're like me you set yourself up and it's a big fall. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you and me.

The above comment did make me laugh though, I must have a filthy mind this morning. Seriously though it's worth a try. I have an appointment soon with a gynecologist and will try everything suggested. I must admit to being worried though as I will get the results of the tests.

Well done on getting rid of the pesky Egg card, that must be a boost.

Just read back what I wrote! :rotfl:

I hope you got your results back and that it was good news - well as good as it can be when you are where we are! I actually wanted there to be a problem so that I could be fixed! Not having anything medically wrong and to keep miscarrying is awful as there's nothing to blame and nothing to make it stop.

Thinking of you and hoping all went ok.

  • I must apoplogise for my earlier filthy mind. I guess there is only one thing on it when you are constantly trying to get pregnant

I'm still waiting to go to the appointment but must admit I'm worried in case it's a you will never have what you want answer.

I hope the debt busting is still going well, I've not done to badly this month. Mind you I will probably start bying comfort food once the students return tomorrow.

    Have a good week.

  • Thought I'd better update as otherwise there is no point in me having a diary. Back at work now - 35 delightful year 6's. Cannot complain as they are the class I taught last year and they are one of the best classes that I have ever taught.

My little girl started nursery this Tuesday. She goes for half a day in the morning Monday - Friday. Anyway, first day there infront of all the staff and parents she says in a very loud voice 'Mummy when are you going to go away and leave me ALONE!' Nice to know I'm wanted!!! The staff thought it was hilarious and couldn't stop laughing. I have a reputation as being a bit of a dragon lady at school so this made it all the more amusing.

Not done too well on the spending front as feeling a but low at the moment so been naughty. Will have to get myself back on track as I really want to crack this debt.

Watched Waterloo Road on TV last night and honestly schools are nothing like that. My OH refuses to watch it with me as I continually shout at the telly what a load of rubbish it is. Still it is nice to have a bit of escapism once in a while.

Anyway, will have to be stricter on money spending and tighten the purse strings.

  • Well, I survived the week at school. Kids were great and it's really nice having the same class again.

Very pleased with myself today as I've had a NSD. :j This is a small miracle for me as Saturdays I usually nip out and spend!!! Took the little girl to the local park and we met up by accident with friends of ours whose little girl is the same age. Had a great time and it meant that the little girl had someone other than mummy and daddy to play with.

Hoping that I will not venture out tomorrow and will sit down and meal plan for the week. Will also sort out the clothing upstairs. These are my two targets for tomorrow. Fingers crossed I will get them done.:o

  • Another NSD for me! :j This is truly a record 2 days in a row.
Need to get my bum in gear and sort out the clothes for washing and putting away. Little girl has run out of clothes to wear for nursery - I only let her wear certain ones as I cannot afford to keep replacing damaged ones. So, she only wears stuff that cost a couple of quid at the most. The one annoying thing are her trousers as they have to come from Next. She is soooo skinny these are the only ones I can get to fit her and they are expensive. I did buy some from asda and had to put in new elastic so that they stayed on but it took ages. Ah, well never mind.
Hubby away this week on business so it's just us girls at home. Will need to make sure that I eat as when he's not here I cannot be bothered to cook for myself. Talking of food best put the sausages on.

  • Well, I'm rubbish. Didn't get any of the things I wanted done done!!! Just really cannot get the motivation at the moment.
I did pick up my little girl's christmas present today - Lotso Bear from Toy Story and the best thing is he didn'y cost anything as I used my Tesco vouchers. :j I know they are worth more on deals but none are relevant to me.

Was going to be a NSD but had to nip into Tesco and get my little girl some fruit and bits so did spend £11.32. :o

Need to get back into doing ebay as this earnt me a little bit of money and despite everything lots sold.

Back to trying to motivate myself with getting this house sorted.

  • Another day. Apart from mystery shopping I did not spend any of my own money as I'll get back the mystery shopping money. I completed 5 shops today before I had to go and pick up the little girl from nursery. Felt a bit bad as I should have come back home and carried on sorting this mess I live in!!!
Hubby is going away in the early hours until Saturday so not looking forward to that. I'm a really scaredy-cat and cannot sleep in the house when there is no other adult here. This means that I will not sleep properly until Saturday night. Ah, well.
Well, I better go and make sure that there is something in the fridge for dinner.

  • Still ambling along here.

Another NSD for me today. :j

One of the lovely mums at nursery gave me some uniform for my little monkey as it's quite expensive - £7.20 for a polo shirt and £10.50 for a sweatshirt. She has a little one at nursery but they do not fit the set she has at home. So, some luck did come this way and I'm very grateful.

Just sorted out the little girls dinner and shall be putting her to bed in the next half an hour - something that is impossible when hubby is home as he usually comes home at this time and gets her all hyped up. It'll be a nice early night for me with the lights on as I'm a really scaredy cat and imagine all sorts.

Need to do some meal planning as we really need to tighten our belts over the coming months. Not sure how it's happened but we do not pay enough money into the joint account. It's about £90 too little. I have to confess to just leaving that account and letting it regulate itself but got a letter from the bank saying we had gone over our agreed overdraft. Well, I've sat down and figured out that this £90 is a result of all the price hikes in electricity, gas, council tax, TV, phone and insurance. It's only a little here and there but all adds up. Will now have to find a way of repaying the overdraft as the lovely bank that we are with charge us a £1 a day for being overdrawn which has also added £30 a month to our debt. Our own fault we should have kept a closer eye. Will need to see about switching providers and sorting out how to jiggle things round.

Enough of my ravings to myself will need to go and think about my dinner now.

  • Also managed to pay another £47.45 off my Virgin card. Really want to get it below £2000 in the next month. Will need to get my bum in gear again!

  • Hello Jediteacher

Glad to hear you are still hitting those figures. You seem to get a lot of mystery shops, have you been doing them for a long time?

Lets hope a lot more gets paid off this month.
