You could sell the non branded stuff on ebay in job lots. Might be worth a go on a free listing weekend.

Thanks for the tip. I had never thought to do that.

Well, didn't get round to posting yesterday as got back quite late.
Toy Story 3 was really good and I cried my eyes out at the end!
Did use the Orange Wednesday free ticket so only paid for my ticket. Went for a meal afterwards but my lovely Hubby gave me money for that so didn't pay out for that.

    Yesterdays spends:

Mystery Shopping: £5 (to be refunded)
    Petrol: £35
    Cinema: £6.98

No mystery shops today but I'm just popping out to town to pay in some checks and look for a sewing course for beginners. I think John Lewis do some so will ask in there. Got a sewing machine for Christmas and really want to start using it.

    Hello Jedi

I thought I would have a mooch on here while I have a break.

It sounds like you and you're little one had a lovely day yesterday.

I had to smile when you said our lives are eerily similar. Lets hope so because it may mean I will get a little one after three disappointments.

Oh and just to freak you out completely I sew and get very exited when others decide to learn. Good luck with finding a course. It may be worth asking at local fabric shops or if you have any colleges and community centres. Also if you can get a sewing book from the library, some cheap fabric and just sit and try some of the techniques to build your confidence. If you ever have any questions please feel free to pm me, I have been sewing since I was about 4 (36 yrs ago) :shhh: . Plus 'The Sewing Room' over on oldstyle. I only lurk, but they do some lovely stuff and seem a nice bunch.

    I will shut up now.

    Have a good day.

Well, had a bit of an eventful morning. Just popped out to do some mystery shopping (luckily hubby home and I left my daughter with him) and some little old man went into the back of me! Not happy. I've jarred my back and my right arm aches! His son runs a repair company so he'll fix my car and I've got an independent mechanic friend coming with me to check it's all koscher! All this after I've just spent £1000 to get the damn car fixed.

As a result I've now had to take the medicine I've been previously supplied for my back which I've been told not to take by the doctor we're seeing for my recurrent miscarriages. I'll have to ring them up later and let them know I'm taking it as I really cannot afford to have my back out again!

Anyway, hubby now taking me and the little girl out for a spot of lunch to cheer me up and as I've not done a shop in over a month we've now run out of food!

I'm sorry to hear about the accident. I hope you will be feeling better soon. Try to take it easy for a while.

Have a good day with your Hubby and little one.

    Chin up.

oh gosh hope you ok. i know how bad back problems can be, i suffer from sciatica and when it flares up i cannot move.
Just started reading your diary and i think your doing really well. can i be cheeky and ask what mystery shopper site you are signed up to. im signed up to 1 but there never seems to be any jobs on it and surveys arent really paying enough.
good luck on your debt free journey too. i have subscribed too hope you dont mind!

Cause I don't mind. The more the merrier. I'll pm you later to give you the mystery shop details as you're not suppose to mention them on the forums apart from the Alerts thread.

Glad to have you on board.

Just a quick update before we dash off again! Back still quite painful so not been able to do much. The house has become more and more messy as I sit here! We're off to my brothers for the annual BBQ although the weather looks awful.

Not made any more payments but have also not spent any money.

Will try and post tomorrow to sort out my finances.

Have a good day at the BBQ. Lets hope the weather picks up, it's miserable here.

Well done for the non spending. How are the ebay sales going - lots of bids hopefully?

    Ta ta.

We had a brilliant time this weekend at my brothers. It was great to see all the family and the girls all playing nicely together (I have two nieces). Yesterday we took our little girl to the Butterfly World in Watford which was lovely. Had a brilliant time.

I am going to calculate how much money I have made on my ebay sales. Out of the 56 items that I listed 38 sold. Not too bad but I'm still chasing buyers who haven't bothered to pay. This really gets my goat as it's ok for buyers to muck you around and yet you as a seller are penalised all the time for not sending the next day, postage costs and are at the whim of the buyer. If I could find another site that sold as much as ebay and has as much custom then I would switch asap. However, ebay seem to have the monopoly and as far as I can tell are forcing out normal sellers like myself in favour of shops and powersellers.

Well, hubby took my car to be repaired today as it's just round the corner from his work. I really hope I get it back today all fixed! I have hubbys car and am off to send off all my ebay parcels and I have one mystery shop today. Off I go....
