Things are ok, all considered. Tom has settled a bit and will now go in the car without screaming his head off (I'm still working on getting him to stay quiet in the pram!!) He's getting a lot less grumpy and I'm not as embarassed to go places as he doesn't seem to cry as much now he's taking an interest in the world. We met up with someone off here last week whose baby was due the same day as Tom and who was born a few days later. They only lives a couple of miles away and are looking to move into our village. Both Mum and baby seem lovely - we're booked on baby massage classes together at the end of the month, so that's nice.
Moneywise, we don't have a lot but then we never did so it's not too much of a shock to the system. House still not selling but I'm sort of resigned to that nowThe only thing I would like is an extra hour or two in the day to get more done...and I'm way behind in reading diaries!!

Hi Stranger! See you've not been around for a while, which I can't say anything about since this is the first time I've been around for more than 5 minutes for about 6 weeks! Hope all's ok with you and that you're just enjoying the time with the kids so much that you've forgotton us all!!!
Those photos are gorgeous - what a little darling, he looks so happy. From those photos, I'm convinced that you're lying to us all - there's no way that little sweetie could possibly cause you any trouble!
I'm guessing that's DD in the last photo, and not you showing off how very young and slim you look, and how stretchy you are now the SPD has disappeared!
Anyway, hope all's well. You'll probably not get the chance to pop over to my diary if you're anything like me, but you're not missing much, so to remove one diary from your catch up list and save 5 minutes of your precious online time, here's the brief Panda bulletin: Gregory is 5.5 wks, piling on the weight (11-8 now!), still a bit jaundiced, but feeding well and had some tests which said he's fine, just taking his time to get over it. We're slowly getting organised in the new house, Adam started at the school nursery class last week and seems to be enjoying it, and I've not bothered going to work all week as the boss has been off!
Take care, hope to see ya soon!0 -

I'm still here every day, I just don't get chance to post much! I did actually have a comment or your diary but haven't had time to post it yet
Tom getting more pleasant by the day although he can still make himself heard when he wants to - other babies we know seem to cry, Tom just screams! We're trying out baby / toddler group and baby massage this week - wish me luck!
Still no luck with selling the house and finances, erm...ouch!!0 -
When I took William to baby massage he slept for 1.5 hours in his pushchair after - the longest he'd EVER slept in it for. I was in heaven
Hope you have a lovely week

Tom loved baby massage. he smiled and gurgled all the way through. Even better, he had a feed afterwards while I had a cup of tea then fell asleep and laid asleep on the changing mat. Sadly i had to wake him up too soon as the class was over and I needed his coat on. Have tried the massage after his bath tonight but so far he's not looking especially interested in sleep.
Have a new fundraising project. Been talking to a friend about going to Florida next year. We've decided we will try to go, while DS is still young enough to want to come with us(He's 15 next summer  ). Not sure about the logisitics about taking Tom but I'm sure we'll be fine. Now we just have to raise the money. Have a little bit saved towards a holiday next year but nowhere near what we need. Will also need to get advice oin booking flights etc as we've decided it'll be better with little ones to go in a villa. Anyone done just that and can give advice? - it'll be very welcome!! Also... any ideas on paying for it???0 -
Florida sounds fab - any room for a little (or not-so-little!) one?! I'm sure you'll find the money, look how quickly you cleared 20-odd grand!
Baby massage sounds good, I might see if there's anything like that round here. I need a bit of peace and quiet!0 -
Been reading through some diaries as I need motivation! Despite the best of intentions we have been slipping lately and we really can't afford to!
I really need to sort out some ebay stuff and have a big declutter. I also need to go in and see my boss about going back to work so that she can sort out classes for next year but haven't found the courage yet. Also I need to step up the daily clicks as I'm not even doing them daily at the moment. Yes, they're boring but it's nice when they payout!
Oh, did get some good news. OH had an old NSI account from when he first started work. He'd left £5 in it. I filled in the tracing form for him and this week he got a cheque for £24.58.0 -
Plucked up all my courage and phoned work today to make an appointment to talk about going back. It's not till close to the end of May so no need to panic yet and now I don't have the need to phone hanging over me. The Head mentioned she'd been told I want to work part-time but was quite non-commital (sp?) about it. She put the meeting down as my performance management meeting (nooo, that wasn't what I wanted, I hate performance management!!) and also asked if I wanted to go on a course in June that I hope I get paid for - need to look up the info on "keeping in touch" days during maternity leave.
Health visitor came today and Tom is now 11lb 1oz so has doubled his birth weight. He has his second set of immunisations tomorrow, bless him.
Pay day later this week and I'll be down to the basic maternity pay (£112 a week  ). Also OH's work laid off four drivers today  . We were waiting for OH to do his drivers' improvement course before he goes back to working away nights again but he might need to do it sooner if jobs are threatened.0
