Hiya! Good to hear all's ok. I'm in the Lunar camp - the more pics the better, please!!!

I'll challenge you for title of worst parent ever - my son has spent YET ANOTHER morning in front of the TV as I can't stand up to do anything else with him! And it's definitely not your fault if the school can't get their act together enough to tell you when to come in!

You're doing really well in the Christmas challenge! I didn't join as I've got so many other things to concentrate on, and Christmas is so far away in the scheme of things, but you're doing brilliantly!
  • Thanks.

Just won £9.22 and £25.78 on the £1 bingo! (just to restake my claim as worst mum - playing bingo instead of playing with child (who is sleeping really!) or unpacking the asda shopping that came an hour ago (well, I put the ice cream away!|).

    Any signs of baby yet?

Nothing yet thankfully, although the midwife I saw yesterday was really surprised that I still had nearly 2 weeks to go as she thought the head was well down! We've just heard that we SHOULD be moving next Friday though, so he'll hopefully hang on until after that!

Well done putting the ice cream away - I'd have eaten it instead!

Got a cheque from GlobalTestMarket for £24.92 (over a pound more than last time) so need to pay that in. Plus I'm more than half way towards redeeming again from there...even though I've barely done a survey for them! Need to pay it in to A&L though and haven't got any envelopes to send it off.

Can I brag a little? DD was in a school cross country comp today and came second. She's now going to represent the district in a county competition.

Quidco paid out £23.92 which really should have gone onto the christmas challenge but have bought a cot mobile instead. Tom's new cot came yesterday but the mattress didn't. My mam thinks he's too little for a cot but he really doesn't settle well in the moses basket. We've bought a bedside cot so hopefully he will be fooled into thinking he's in bed with us!

Mixed results with the bedside cot. Tom will sleep in it for so long if my hand is on his chest (otherwise he keeps "jumping" and waking himself up.) However, I woke up Friday morning unable to move my head or left arm without having loads of pain in my back and I think I've slept awkwardly and pulled a muscle or something. It's a bit better today but I still can't turn my head.

Tom had his 8 week check yesterday (at 7 weeks  ) and everything is fine. He now weighs a whopping 8lb 2oz and I have new photos to put on when i get chance. He has smiled a few times but isn't really a smiley baby - usually the smile turns to "twist" pretty easily. We also ended up at A&E with him today as OH managed to bang his head on the door frame while walking out of the bedroom. The doctor there said he appeared to be ok but I imagine we are now even higher on the Bad Parenting list!!

The housing estate where we were wanting to live has finally started releasing the 4 bedroom houses. We are in a bit of a dilemma though as the prices there appear to be quite a bit higher than other houses for sale locally. We have reduced the price on ours slightly as whether we eventually decide to go there or eslewhere, we need to be selling ours soon as we have no space at all. The estate agent claims there's a lack of first time buyers at the moment though :( Anyway, fingers crossed for something happening soon!
