  • DD just had a bath using one of the Lush ballistics that came yesterday and she was very excited that lots of glitter and stars fizzed out of it. She says it's the most magical bath she's ever had and is eye-ing up the rest of the products to use. Think maybe I should have ordered two bags as I can see I'm not going to get to use much of it myself!

Oh bless! Didn't realise there were these bags on offer or I would have got a few!! Need to be on the grabbit board a bit more - or maybe not!! Bit dangerous perhaps!

That's great news that Tom's piling the weight on and you're chucking it away! And good that you've managed to save enough to avoid any more debt!

I avoid the grabbit boards as I'd end up buying all sorts of things I don't need. The swingything for a fiver sounds interesting - maybe I could get one for my lounge?!

The grabbit board is both a wondrous and a wicked place. I really shouldn't go there!

    Yup, see above!
  • Bizarre things happening with our Asda online order tonight. Firstly lots of substitutions which I don't mind as they all work in our favour - better quality (or more expensive anyway!!) items for the price of the items we ordered.

But then something strange has happened with the yoghurt drinks. We ordered Asda own brand which have been substituted with Muller Vitality drinks so we have only been charged the price for the asda own brand. But then the vitality drinks were on 2 for £1.50 (which if I'd noticed we would have bought these anyway) so it has taken off the difference in price - but it's taken off the difference between £1.50 and the full price not the price we've paid - if that makes sense? Meaning it's reduced our shopping bill be £5 and they've actually paid us to take delivery of the drinks - madness, but hey ho!

Isn't internet shopping a grand thing!!

    Hi Chocaholic.

Well done on the online shopping bonuses, i definatly wouldnt complain at that. How is Tom getting on, still putting on weight. I bet you are really busy at the minute. I try keep well away from the grabbit board normally, as i am easily tempted. I might have a look in a few months time though. Hope you are managing to get some rest.

  • Rest, what's that? Nope, not getting a lot of that but don't mind as it's all time spent with my little man. It's funny as I seem to remember when the other two wre little being relieved to hand them to someone else fr a while or being frustrated if I couldn't do something but I don't feel like that at all this time. Whether it's because I'm older and more patient or whether it's because I'm well aware that the cuddles stafe doesn't last long (or it didn't with DS anyway) but I'm perfectly content spending my days looking after Tom. And the day just flies by! Everyday before I know it, it's bedtime!

The thing I find hardest is making time for the other two. Doing my best to include them which is easy with DD but not so easy with DS (I think he wishes I would just leave him alone a bit more really!)

Anyway, Tom was weighed again today and has put on another 11oz taking him to 6lb 12oz. According to the health visitor he is now only in the smallest 3% of babies his age rather than the smallest 2% - yay! I'm sure with these weight gains he'll be average size in no time. I nee to sort his clothes out again as he's grown out of some of the tiniest things (the 5lb clothes) but it's hard to find the time.

I did manage to put some stuff on ebay yesterday though, some maternity clothes I won't need any more (sniff!), some make-up that just came randomly through the post (competition win possibly??) and sme other junk that's been waiting in the bottom of my wardrobe for ages. No interest as yet but hopefully there will be before the auctions end next Sunday.

  • Got a reply today from a cranky e-mail I sent Boots last week (I don't normally write complaining letters but was feeling particularly cross!). The reply says they will add 1000 points to my advantage card - definitely worth 5 minutes writing the e-mail!

Also won £25 on the final bingo site bringing the final winnings totals to £140 for me and £85 for OH. Couldn't have come at a better time.

Ebay listings beginning to show interest - two have bids and most have watchers. Fingers crossed!

Finally got round to sorting out Tom's clothes and he has several things in the next size up. DD has nabbed some of the 5lb items he's grown out of for her Baby Born. No doubt soon he'll be growing out of the Tiny Baby sizes (up to 7.5lb) and into the Newborn sizes and I'll need another wardrobe reorganisation!

That's brilliant that he's coming on well - keep posting those photos!!!

Great result with Boots and Asda - our Tesco shopping arrived this morning, and we got quite a few freebies as they'd sent the wrong stuff and the driver said he'd refund it and we could keep it anyway! Question about online shopping: does anyone ever feel that they should tip the driver? I never have done, but DH always feels guilty, especially with people like the old bloke today who was super-helpful! I'm still quite new to grocery deliveries, so not quite sure of the etiquette!!!
