Glad to hear you are starting to get settled in to the new house - it will be strange for a bit but I'm sure it will be lovely
Try not to worry too much about being reliant on R for money for a while, I'm quite sure he won't mind looking after you xx

Tax cerdits people sent me a letter saying that huge payment was because id been underpaid...im not convinced and need to sit down later with all the paperwork and see if I can make any sense of itI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Ohhhh so that big payment could have been yours then? When we had a big one earlier in the year I phoned them and just confirmed all the figures with them and got their assurance it was mine to spend and they wouldn't be asking for it back. Fingers crossed for you.
Did the parcel arrive btw?"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
it's bound to be unsettling Sally, it will be fine though. It's an upheaval for everyone involved and it's only natural to have doubts about something so important - however much you both know you want it.
Pain in the arris about the ex. Pfft. If he doesn't play ball, tell him you'll get the CSA involved. They can be pretty useless but just threatening it might do the trick when he gets a job."Stay Wonky":D

Sorry Pooky, I meant to say it arrived when I went back to the house yesterday...thank you so much B and A will be thrilled! I do need to phone and go through figures...I mean I did my renewal thing over the phone and went through the figures then so I can't see it will be wrong, just strange as I have always given them the correct figures whenever the changes occur so how they have underpaid Ive no idea
busy day here....first I need to see if I can bare washing my hair at least in cold water (stupid back boiler system thing we have here isn't working and they aren't coming until lunchtime)I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. Can you boil up a couple of kettles full of water Sal and fill up the sink in the bathroom and then wash your hair over the side of the bath?
I have had to do that many a time in our old house as we had a coal fire so if it wasnt on in the summer there was no hot water at all.
Fingers crossed that the tax credits money is yours to spend. But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Glad it arrived. :T
We'd always given the TC people details of any changes and there'd been a lot over the past year with DH not working and getting different amounts of stuff, I always thought what they were sending was right but they then gave us £1400 when we renewed.
So fingers crossed."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
All the house problems have been sorted and landlady is lovely...she's given me her number for any problems and I had a right old moan about letting agents and I think we can probably come to some arrangement with her after the 6 months and not use them
Weather is vile vile vile and we have cabin fever...must do something with B tomorrowI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

That's great Sally - the LL will be delighted to get rid of agents so she gets all the rent without them taking their share of the income;)26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073
