Day 1 of operation decorate and I am exhausted...near enough finished one room. Took hundreds of picture hooks, nails, screws out walls, filled holes, wiped all the woodwork down, sanded, painted celing, painted all walls...phew! Mum washed the woodwork in the rest of the house...8 hours non stop and its the same again tomorrow!
Had a letter waiting at the new house to say that bea's appeal for school is being held on Friday 3rd September...so if she gets in she will start on the Monday :eek: Its all very real and really have to do my very best to get her in

haven't followed your past diary, not sure how I missed it, I spend enough time on here! But congratulations on moving forward and on being debt free.
I really hate it when letting agents do this too. I am just lucky that we picked by pure chance a good letting agent phew!

another day decorating...am knackered but its starting to come together and hopefully by the end of the week all the painting and finishing touches will be done. Have won a bed on ebay which I need to pick up for R's son so thats great. Need to still pick up the wardrobe and chest of drawers for our room and the table, chairs and bedside cabinets from R's parents. All of this can wait until he is back and we can use his car.
