Never a truer word and how well that fits me as well!
I was once given a mug that says 'ESP and PMT' = a bit** who thinks she knows everything. I thought that strangely apt.
:rotfl:
LOL..... Sometimes I get buyers that like to 'threaten you with the authorities' All my dealings are legit and I have nothing to hide so when I get the emails that state
I am reporting you to Ebay CS, PP, TS and HMRC and WFTC...etc...
I reply with "dont forget the FBI, CIA, MFI and B&Q"....LOL0 -

If I had a pound for every buyer (or seller) who has reported me to ebay I would be able to afford my paper bill this month!
I always have a chuckle when I get the 'I know my rights and I'm going to tell ebay about you' email, and I imagine them scweaming and scweaming until they make themselves sick and stamping their little feet.
In the last year alone i have apparently been reported for not keeping back items that are on Best offer even though a buyer hasn't made up their mind whether to buy it or not. I was reported for not selling an item to someone who bid within 3 minutes of me listing it, who got outbid by several other people in the past hour , but apparently the item was theirs as they bid first.
Oh, and I got reported by a seller who tried to charge me more postage on a book than the invoice showed, as ebay had told her that was the correct way of getting round the cap on postage! She told me that ebay agreed that I was stupid to imagine that she was supposed to sell me a book for 1p with £2.75 postage as any fool could see it wasn't enough for a book that cost £9.99 new.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I had one the other day who is apparently reporting me because refused to change my buyer requirements to let her bid on my items because she has 2 strikes or more.0

LOL - Well it takes all sorts...I suppose.
I was reported (apparantly) for selling something 'unfit for pupose'...the item in question was a mobile phone that had a broken screen. So I described it accurately complete with photo's (several)and described it as "faulty - fit for spares or repair". The buyer bought it and then emailed stating that it had arrived with a broken screen. When I referred them to the auction and told them it stated clearly 3 times that the screen was broken, and that it was sold for spare parts or to be repaired.....they said....(Wait for it as this is a good one)
It is not fit for purpose as I have no use for it as spare parts and can not repair it.....:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Oh yes I have had one of those too.....
Apparantly as a seller on ebay I HAVE to let her bid - it's the law!:rotfl::rotfl:0 -

I do love it when they tell me its the law, and they then usually go on to say and their husband is a policeman, or else they are a lawyer.

To be honest, eBay customer service are that bad she's probably not lying. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:"Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

I really suggest you check the rules about feedback abuse, honestly, go check.
EDIT: Here you are just in case you can't find it:
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policie...ithdrawal.html
Feedback Abuse
Feedback comments containing any of the following are not permitted:
Negative statements within Feedback left for a buyer that conflict with the positive rating
When I need your advice I will ask for it . Kindly go sell on ebay for more than 12 years and then come back and tell me about the rules and what to do. I absolutely have negged a buyer with positive feedback as described and it was not removed. If you are clever you can say an awful lot in a few words. You can also reply to any feedback left and put your side of the argument. Imagine buying an item from a store and then deciding you dont want it so take it back because of a tiny fault you did not see. The store is very helpful, takes it back and then you go and paste up a slanderous and innacurate complaint in their shop window. Couldnt happen could it? Think again it happens on ebay where some buyers really risk being on the wrong end of litigation with their allegations because ebay has a fixation with buyers rights over those of sellers, most esp non-business or private sellers. You can think what you like but you cannot write what you like unless you are stating absolute facts that no court could argue with. In the case quoted this would be my response all in capitals for emphasis. BUYER RETURNED ITEM -FULL REFUND- THEN NEG FB . WILL NOT SELL TO AGAIN!
I think its about time we had a little more balance on this board and I dont think highlighting words in red is suitable conduct for a moderator - go think about that!0 -

Firstly if the buyers you left positive feedback for with a negative comment complained to ebay it will be removed.
I KNOW this as I have had such comments removed.
Soolin and I often do not agree and have differences of opinion but these are 'opinions' and every one is entitled to them! When it comes to ACTUAL RULES Soolin is usually clued up (as am I). I am not sure that you need to have 12 years experience (although I have 10+ years) to be able to read or understand the Ebay help pages that Soolin directed you to.0
