The web page is back on :j.

I made my daughters curtains in the coal and omg they are lovely , they look very expensive , best curtains in the house ,lol.

I have just tried ordering some more , I just hope its in stock.

Can people list here what materials they have been told are out of stock. Wondering if we are told the same thing or do things come back in stock ?
    Kindness costs nothing :)

Yeh, now ordered some more material to make some curtains for my HUGE front bay window. For curiosity, I did a quick calculation to find out how much they would have been ready made - £223 UNLINED!!! For the curtains in my son's room, for which I've already ordered the fabric - £113!!!
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

Hi I ordered daisies - willow got a letter a few days later telling me out off stock and my was bank account refunded the same day.
The letter stated 'We have tried to obtain further supplies to fulfil you order requirements, but unfortunately have been unsuccessful'

Plumbs have stopped sending out fabric samples...can anyone oblige please?
I am looking for a sample of Dolce vita which has a cream background with a black fern like leaf running vertically up it, Sienna charcoal which is black background with cream squares on it, and belagio grape..which is a grape colour!
    Many thanks!
Waiting for dolce vita, will have it tonight as it's coming to me from uk. If you pm me your address I'll send to you:)

Can anyone advise on how thick the material is? I'm renting a flat with huge windows, which are very draughty -no double glazing-. It only has bamboo blinds which I hate, so would like to get some cheap and thick curtains to make the rooms more weather proof.
What's the quality like of the fabric, would they fit my needs?
Also, as I've no sewing machine, I'd be making them by hand, so I'll only embark on something very simple (I do enjoy hand sewing though!), so lining would be a bit too much. What do you think? And many thanks in advance! :)

Bit of a newbie to fabric (getting a friend's gran to make my curtains so just need the fabric) seen the one I like in the £1 a metre section - if I order the right width for my curtains in metres how can I be sure the length is right? Or do I order the length I need and the width is all standard ? Im confused haha
Wins so far - Numerous Glamour and Rimmel Goodies, 4 tickets to T4OTB, Tiling Tools and Paintbrush, Dova Spa Facial, 5 Tickets to Lynx Allnighter (Halloween party)

Thanks to all posters on MSE :T

Try these websites, one does it for you and the other you calculate yourself (I know which I prefer :D)

  • Just been onto website and most of the 'Clearance' fabrics have now been increased to £3 per metre. (Still a bargain, though - just not as great!).
    If it's cheap, I'm cheerful!

I noticed this too! My samples have only just arrived, it is a shame they are not honouring the original price after all the free publicity they have gained from this site.
