My car isn't so fussy on the oil so I stock up when I find decent oil cheap. Still cheaper than getting oil changed elsewhere at the above prices.0

Not as it states in my Haynes Manual - states V6 = 4.5 litres, think I should know after owning one for 3 years!
Either you or the manual is wrong,i've owed 3 V6 lumps over the past 10yrs,each engine has taken 6.5 litres each oil change.Official MR B fan club,dont go............................0 -

Looking on the web, and in fact you are wrong and so I am, and the manual.
It takes 5.5 litres and this can be confirmed here:

My mate went to a National garage once in view of a cheap oil & filter change. They turned him away basically saying that they make no money from it and that it's a waste of their fitters time as they could be doing more profitable sales in the time it takes. They just weren't interested.
But I suppose if you book and pay online then they can't turn you away.0 -
