Hi Catch22,
I have the same router as you and had all the lights saying connected but had one of the settings wrong as copied by Chippy above.
How many lights show on the router? There should be
1) "On" light
2) Internet
3) Wireless
4) One of the following: 1,2,3,4Torgwen.....................

Not being funny Chippy but I think you're going down the wrong rabbit hole. I'll owe you a beer if I'm wrong but..........
From what I can gather 22's mobo has an integrated LAN. I still reckon it's not showing in Device Manager or Belarc because it's not enabled in the Bios. If it were enabled, even if TCP/IP is disabled it would still show a MAC address in Belarc.
Willing to be flamed on that but I think 22 needs to explore the bios option first.

It's been asked before, but enter http://192.168.0.1 in your browser
That is one of the problems,it won't do anything when i try the above. There is no internet then.

£2 savers club = £83.500 -
@urbanite
On most techie forums I'd tend to agree with you and the thought had crossed my mind.
However you wouldn't believe (and I don't mean this to be in any way disparaging) some of the basic lack of understanding of all things computing on here. Each to their own, so for the mo I'm willing to give the OP the benefit of the doubt.

@Catch 22Where do I find BIOs, please?
When you first power on your PC you should see something like this
It can flash by pretty quickly so if necessary use the Pause/Break key on your keyboard to freeze it.
You then have to go into the bios CMOS menu. As you can see at the very bottom of the above image you should have something like 'Hit DEL to enter Set-up.' This is the most common but sometimes other function keys are used.
You will then see something like this
You will find Onboard LAN under Integrated Peripherals. Toggle to 'Enable' and then F10 to 'Save and Exit.' Your computer will reboot and once in Windows the Found New Hardware wizard should run automatically and install the drivers.
WARNING: do not change any other of your bios settings unless you are 100% sure you know what you are doing, otherwise you may render your PC unusable!!
