I have used Megabus [London-Glasgow] and experience was good. It was a double decker bus.

Not worse than any other bus journey. I'd say they are comparable with any National Express coach journey.

At that price, you don't really have anything to lose. :)
Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.

is £6.50 worth a cold and a screaming baby behind you that you cannot get away from as the mother can't control her children?

The seats are not the same as any other coach, so I have no ideal what coachs you have been on, but I have used MegaBus a number of times and everytime they have been awful.

The seats often have stains on and chewing gum stuck on them and you will often find the drivers are not very friendly at the best of times.

Awful service, if your saying my advice is wrong to avoid them then so must everyone else on this thread who has said avoid!

Please see here OP, for some reviews form others who have used the service which also state the same:

Avoid MegaBus, much better to pay more, unless you want a really rubbish trip!

    not a parent then?

babies do not cry becasue the mother can't control them

babies cry beacause they need something, maybe they are tired, bored or hungry, but they certainly do not cry because they are not being 'controlled' correctly by the mother :(
