Wow I was wondering what people meant about you and your terrible advice, I can see what they were talking about. The coaches are no different to any other, seats are the same size, just as much chance as a screaming child as on a train or plane.

For £6.50 you cant go wrong really...

blued I agree with you fully.

    Avoid MegaBus.

They are very cheap on buying advance tickets but really, avoid them.

They smell, the seats are awful and very un-comfy.

You will often get a screaming baby behind you or someone who is smelly sat next to you on your half a foot bench seat.

    Often run late

    I would AVOID

You really do post some tosh.

I've used them many times & it's no different to other forms of public transport except cheaper... which is what the OP is after!

I'd suggest you only post on topics you actually have some knowledge of....

I have knowledge on using MegaBus, thank you so maybe your advice is 'tosh' as per the word you used.

So, others who have said avoid, must be wrong too?

Please don't tell me what there like, I know what there like, there awful coachs to use and travel on.

Again, as I have stated to others, if you don't like what I have posted and what my option on the matter is, do not read it, quite simple isn't it?? Well done you! :T

if your saying my advice is wrong to avoid

Your "advice" is often wrong & has been proved so on many occasions!

Stick to what you know & leave out the " my mate told me down the pub" posts that you quote as facts!

I don't go to the pub, thank you so think I stick by my advice, avoid MegaBus, they are awful and a simple search on other threads on this forum and in Google will pull up 100s of reviews stating just how bad they are.

OP, better to pay the extra few pound for a better trip, unless you are happy with sitting on a beach alike seat with stains on and very little room

is £6.50 worth a cold and a screaming baby behind you that you cannot get away from as the mother can't control her children?

The seats are not the same as any other coach, so i have no ideal what coachs you have been on, but i have used megabus a number of times and everytime they have been awful.

The seats often have stains on and chewing gum stuck on them and you will often find the drivers are not very friendly at the best of times.

Awful service, if your saying my advice is wrong to avoid them then so must everyone else on this thread who has said avoid!

Please see here op, for some reviews form others who have used the service which also state the same:

    and

avoid megabus, much better to pay more, unless you want a really rubbish trip!

I've used them a few times Bristol - London. Nice new coaches, comfortable enough, punctual. Only downside is that they tend to be full of students.

My god sassy you are so wrong on this

They have brand new coaches and i have never seem Gum on seats or anything you say you have.

Stagecoach who run Megabus are trying to take over National express so soon you will never travel on them as well.

Fact is Megabus are better then national express and fact the drivers are a lot better too.

Also the old thread you bought up is from 2005/2006 when they 1st started so a few years ago and they have got better and better since then.

    wrong wrong wrong

Everyone is wrong unless they agree with you.

MegaBus is one of the worst forms of travel I have ever been on, I have used them for London to Edinburgh a number of times, I have used trains in the past every day for 3 years running, which have been bad, but by far worse MegaBus beat any old train by miles!!

The drivers are not very polite and often will leave there pick up point 5 minutes early, as happened to one of my friends, and one time I was on one, the driver was using his mobile phone without a hands free kit I do recall.

The driver put a side though, the coaches they have are nasty and smelly.

I really do not agree with anyone using one UNLESS they really have no other choice and want a rubbish ride
