Linda, you're the best. There, i just had to say it.
When i found my perfect dress, that was just a wee bit too tight, you were there. I would have had to have got another dress without your help, and with your alterations to the train i'll be able to wear it all day and still be able to move. I cant recommend you highly enough. Im already trying to think of another event that i might need a dress making for!!
Ignore whoever has said nasty things, if they cant come out here and say it then they're just cowards and not worth worrying about.

Don't worry Linda, the ones who are pm'ing you are probably the other companies that are pretending to be brides.lindaatno9 wrote: »It seems I am using the forum to advertise my services by some people so have decided to remove 'offending' posts. However, I cannot be held responsible for ladies posting reccomendations of which I am very greatful.
Any more p messages and I will feel it necessary to leave the forum. Sad, but there you have it. All I have ever wanted to do is help to reduce wedding costs and I do feel I have done this by most certainly not advertising my services. I point many ladies in all directions and do feel I have helped out. Maybe it's the 'new' brides who haven't been here over the past 2 years as I have, but there you have it.:T Engaged and planning to get married in 2012 :T0

I also want to reccommend Linda - she kindly saw me 'out of hours' , didnt mind that i was late (had got lost as usual!) and offered me lots of advice, all for free! now i am convinced that another seamstress could well have said i needed lots doing to my dress, but she was very honest with me, and ordered me the perfect petticoat at cost price!
i live in sheffield and she was def worth travelling to - not just to see Linda, but for the gorgeous view!!!!!2011 biggies: £1000 holiday,£100 all saints voucher, £200 ticketmaster, Links London bracelet, Ted Baker watch, £50 Oliver Bonas
2011 aim - win enough to save up for baby items!
2009 wins total £2623 inc break in Iceland!
2010 wins total £6430 inc break in Dubai!0

I have decided that because Lindaatno9 has helped so many people of here and has obvioulsy been sent a message from someone who has an inferiority complex I am going to make a concious effort to thank her for everyone of her posts.
As everyone has said, I dont think I have once seen a post started by, or with Linda commenting on how she is a dressmaker and touting for business. As we all know word of mouth is a very powerful thing and just because she is obvioulsy very good at her job and has a lot of happy customers, as well as offering invaluable advice to strangers is no reason to be mean to her! or anyone!Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.0

Not sure of the point of this? Why thank her for making a comment about ironing!
All you are doing is skewing the whole point of a thank you.
As it stands her thank you's are a true representation of how she actually helps people
 Nice sentiment tho0

Don't even think of leaving missy, you are far too good a resource to leave. You are the perfect poster, using experience and expertise to make sure we are as MSE at possible, which is the whole point about this site! Some has a bit of a chip, methinks!!:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:0
