At the risk of making this thread sound like a mega forum love-in, I have to agree that Linda's posts are always carefully made, and never come across as touting for buisness.
I've not had much direct conversation with here, but I've always noticed how helpful she has been offering advice on how to save money without selling her buisness.

If the complaint was made because of the competition to win a dress (note WIN, not buy) then that's retty sad.

Good Grief!! To whoever it was that complained - why not look back through Linda's previous posts and there you will find her always giving invaluable help and advice to posters on this board, normally within minutes of an enquiry and always impartial.

Perhaps we should all stop posting up our "bargain buys" (and believe me those are few and far between when the word wedding is involved) from particular named shops or helping people to find the dress they have searched high and low for from a particular manufacturer.

The phrase "Get a Life" springs to mind

I agree with Fly it's total Bollox Linda has never touted for business on here but merley offers advice to people who want it. Who ever has sent Linda Pm's should be ashamed of themselves and should back off and they best hope that I don't find out who they are.

Linda please don't leave because someone doesn't even know what they are talking about. I can understand that your upset about it I would be too love. I am very happy for you to make my dress for me when I need it. As if you need to tout for business on here by the sound of it your a very busy lady anyway.

Obviously the person who has pm'ed you isn't brave enough to post it on the forums because of the risk of being eaten alive and so they should.

Linda, I have not seen the 'offending' posts nor do I know who contacted you, but could I suggest that you contact Abuse to check what it is and is not ok to post? That way, you can check that you are not breaking any rules, and if anyone comments in future you can confirm that you have permission to post. Seems like a win win solution?
