Oh hun, I feel your pain everything always seems to come at once. When it comes to kids whatever it is you always have the guilt of being a working mum my DS is 15 and i wonder if im around enough now its in built i think but kids will let you know if your not happy im sure.
Your never alone we are always here for you, and yes roll on payday im scrapping through also.
Chin up maybe a glass of wine and a good nights sleep will make things a little brighter in the morning you are doing fine just hitting a few bumps along the way.MARCH 2016 DEBT £25750/ £25035

HWG, thank you:) I think it is in built for mums to think they're not doing anything right, not enough time doing things with the dc, it's so hard. But we(my colleagues and I) were saying it's all in your head and I need to get my head sorted so that I don't worry about every little thing and can learn to accept that if I have to do xyz then the kids will be ok and they can't always come first no matter how much I want them to.
I am feeling brighter about things since speaking about it.
I bought ds' christmas present, CD player today, in Asda. £15 Bargain! All he needs now is some cd's to play on it and he's done, apart from stocking bits.
I'm going to search online today for the rest of the presents and decide what to get people so next friday, payday, I can just order everything up and it's done, I just want to get that done and dusted so I can concentrate on fun stuff in December.
We're off to see Father Christmas tomorrow, my Dad's book dc in somewhere. It's a bit early but we'll do the letters in the morning and i'll take them with me so they can give them to him.
I need to also come up with a plan to stop having to visit Tesco every 5 minutes. It's driving me mad and costing too much. I need to work out how many loaves of bread we use per week. How many loos rolls, all that kinda thing and then try and get it all ordered once a month or something.
THen I also have plans to fill up with petrol straight after pay day so I don't end up stopping in the garage every few days coz I only want to put £15/20 in the tank.
All these little things add up to so much time and drive me crazy!
I've got 17 items on ebay at the moment, only 7 don't have bids and they all finish tonight. Hoping to raise £30 at least.
I also have my eye on some cd's for ds so hoping the bids on those stay low:D0 -
Last ebay item just finished, £39 in total plus postage, sold 12 out of 17 items.
Not bad and more 'stuff' out of my house!!
I want to list a few pairs of shoes and a couple of party dresses this week so they can go whilst people are thinking about party season. I'll also check my boxes of stuff and see what else needs to be listed sooner rather than later for christmas
off to bed in a bit, dh is out and i'm gonna fall asleep to a girlie dvd0 -
Well done on your ebay sales!
Sorry to hear you've had a tough week, I had a couple of days like it last week too, glad you are feeling better now though.
I always fill up the car on payday too, I find a full tank seems to last much longer than just putting the odd £10 here and there. It helps me know that I've got enough fuel for most of the month, and if I need to top up it won't be so much."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". thanks jwil:) I'm so glad I started this diary, it's keeping me focused and giving me an outlet to clear my over-filled head!
We had a good day today, I went to my Dad's he had booked them in to see santa so they met him today and he was a really good one too. My brother and Dad thought he was a bit 'market trader' when he spoke but I thought he was great.
Dad also bought them a couple of books (he rarely buys them things so was lovely) and had bought them an advent calender each, so that saves me buying them:j I had half expected him to as he has bought them the last few years and I have normally already bought them too so I end up with 4, this year I thought i'd wait til after i see him so it works out well. He also buys a more expensive one than I would:rotfl:
Dh and I are about to parcel up the ebay sales_party_
Oh and I managed to buy ds 2 story cd's from ebay which will save me some cash and is paid for by the sales:T0 -
This isn't really to do with debt busting but I want to write my 'to do' list for today as I need to get somethings done today and if it's on here I'll feel guilty if I don't get them done:D
1) do the wages for job 2
2) do a couple of hours for job 1
3) make a reward chart for dd who is being a PITA at bedtime
4) parcel ebay things and post them
5) take repeat prescription to doctors as i've run out
I'm sure there's more but I must iron a shirt for dd so i'll be back in a bit...0 -
well I have achieved sweet Fa today:o I just can't get motivated to be bothered:o
1) do the wages for job 2 - partly done and will finish in a bit
2) do a couple of hours for job 1 - nope:o might be able to start later but have a PTA meeting at 8
3) make a reward chart for dd who is being a PITA at bedtime - nope not done yet but should only take a minute
4) parcel ebay things and post them - i've written out the addresses on a bit of paper does that count?!
5) take repeat prescription to doctors as i've run out -done!
One out of 5's not bad:wall:
I must get more organised.0 -

She's a big girl:rotfl: feeling a bit better in some ways but not others. I'm beggining to think it's the nature of the beast. I'm going ot try and suck it up and move along.
So to the list..
1) do the wages for job 2 - now finished but only a few mins ago:o
2) do a couple of hours for job 1 - nope <,sigh>> maybe tomorrow
3) make a reward chart for dd who is being a PITA at bedtime - done
4) parcel ebay things and post them - i've written out the addresses on a bit of paper does that count?! Still not done...
5) take repeat prescription to doctors as i've run out -done!
Ebay parcels might get done in the morning if I go to bed soon and get up with dh. Might be able to squeeze it into the morning rush. Or at least some of them!
I now have another huge list of jobs to do for the 2nd job. Will be claiming some extra hours in Dec I think!
And I did my ironing mountain, well it was more a small mound but it's done so that makes me happy:beer:
The final statement remains;
I must get more organised.

Pay day tomorrow AT LAST!! And I made it, sort of lol used cc for a couple of things but overall not too bad.
It was my birthday yesterday and I was very lucky and got a bit of money so I've decided to buy myself a new mobile, nothing too flash but a bit of an upgrade. I also got a Next voucher(not sure how much as it doesn't say) i'm going to use that to pay off part of the account. I'm also gonna buy a new wooly hat, it's freezing!!!!!!!!
I'm going to make a list of things to do over the next few days and post it on here, will try and do that first thing in the morning as I can't think right now!!
I'm gonna watch Russell Howard and then go to bed.
back in the morning...0
