Thanks Bob! And I'm glad Smashed is getting down here too .... I was planning on giving Auntie Wol a call this week for this weekend, and guess what ... I've come down with another cold. When people say that rheumatoid arthritis is an auto immune disease, they *really* mean it....

Sounds like the South East is a place to be avoided at the end of the month - or maybe, if anyone wants to join in, they should just follow the flashing blue lights???
    Enjoy!!!

I'm slowly pottering and pootling thanx KC..but feeling positive

Piggies all Ok atm....Bandit much better, Ginger too...got results for Bandits appendage problem and we know the bugs causing it but we can;t start meds yet because he had this bloat episode. Nevertheless he is doing fabbi atm (apart from the smell :embarasse_pale_)

..counselling tonight was a bit of a shock......need to work out how I;m going to handle that.....or even if I'm going to "buy into it".......

Dropped off a load of M&S stuff at Oxfam today for my £5.00 cashback voucher....then found out I have to spend £35 to redeem said voucher .

Errrmmm......Anyone going to M&S before the end of Feb to buy something specific for £35+? I have a voucher for you - PM me if you;re interested ;)

Ebaying some stuff this weekend including 1dozen silk red roses from "The Git" from many years ago. About time I started getting rid of his reminders :T:T

Have also been slowly working with client's stuff (three days work t get up to date) and also starting to sort out house mess ready for Auntie Smashed....(well she does need a clear path from the lounge to her bed.....which currently doesn;t exist....:rotfl::rotfl:)

All-in-all...a better week than last week...and things are ever-so-baby-stepping along :D

Too late...had them knocking on my door earlier this week....muttering about NeighbouR/tyre/nail/second time...shakes head in a manner akin to banned confused smiley :D

    (INSERT .... BACKGROUND FOR PC'S VISIT -)
Huuuuhhhh (insert confused smiley)....I sometimes have had to replace two tyres within a month because of nails/screws etc picked up on the way to and from the environs ...Wol wanders off muttering about wasting of taxpayers money by paranoid peepies) PC was very apologetic as I think he realised these compLAiners wre a bit gaga

...phew...does that mean me and Smashed have a "pass" for end of month?? ;):D

One encouraging thought - a year or so ago you would not have coped so well with so many unfortunate events in a short space of time. But look at you now, Wol, you are dealing with each pie in the face as it arrives and moving on upwards all the time! Your posts are more positive and accepting of misfortune than previously, and you are focussed on plans for the future. I think Wol has grown up at last - yes, there will always be carp to deal with, especially the family kind (the same the world over) but you can be boss of it instead of it being boss of you. And of course the MSE tribe will always be here to provide broad shoulders if you want to rant and howl occasionally.

    I love this post.....Thanx Nargle :D

Nargle that is a lovely post, and it applies as much to me as it does to WOL though I haven't had nearly as much to deal with! Wol glad to see that you are making those baby steps. I have updated my thread but if you don't want the rant avoid the second post!
