It *is* positive, isn't it - except for Nearly Soprano Willow - and chev's agony, you poor thing! - happy to hear happy-slight-inebriation from you, Wol, things is looking up - I was having a play on ebay too ...got a few watchers. And lots more energy, tho its still ridiculously difficult to actually, you know, **talk**!

I know that feeling, chev - from my arthritis to my energy levels and all the colds I get. Hope you can find an answer and it gets sorted.

    Hi All

I think it;s overall going in the right direction still....just had a "week that was"........I still can;t believe that I ended up in bed all day last wednesday because I just couldn;t face any more garbage.........that scares me because I never used to respond like that :o(In yesteryear I have been known to [STRIKE]respond to[/STRIKE] compensate for such adverse situations by working even harder/longer hours and also cleaning my house from top to bottom :o)

    A) Some good things about the last week or so:

    • Plumber has fixed everything :j:j...I can now relax :D
    • Dual fuel swapped for cash back :money:
    • Willow's wound is healing nicely :)
    • I drove a piggie train from Somerset to Herts in order to help bring two lonely piggies together :D....
    • Have done my daughterly duty and visited the parents last weekend
    • Bought rather a lot of bog rolls at bargainous price (18 rolls of Kleenex Triple Velvet for £5.87) :money:

    B) Some frustrating things:

    • Received reply from an idiot at the water company - I am going to have fun with my response tomorrow ;)
    • Received reply from ABI (Association of British Insurers) in response to the letter from my MP - I am going to have fun with my response tomorrow ;)
    • Received phone call from villager seemingly thinking I exist purely to sort out their sewage problems including arranging/attending meetings with relevant utilities companies - yep - you;ve got it - I am going to have fun with my response tomorrow ;)
    • Plumber unfortunately found even more legacies from dodget and bodget....yep - you;ve got it - I am not going to waste my time on a reponse to this :D

    C) Some carp things:

    • PHone call out of the blue/my past from a selfish !!!!!! last monday sent me on a right wibble...just starting to calm down. Notwithstanding this, I am pleased to report that I did acquit myself quite well actually :o- gave them a piece of my mind for the first time ever about "one-way relationships" and how "I don;t do those any more" :T:T....oooh eer....the worm has turned ..and it needed to be done.........(.:shhh:..but it didn;t stop me from feeling terribly carp/cruel etc afterwards though :o)
    • I am not up to date with work/client stuff and really need to extract whatever it is that I have previously stuck up my bum to cause said obstruction......(for some reason I keep thinking of the House episode where he was treating a little boy who kept sticking things up his nose.....a police van, a fire engine, etc etc.....and it turned out it was because there was a tiny model cat so far up his nose he was putting other small toys up to rescue it :rotfl::rotfl:)
    • One of my new clients is some type of academic psychologist and seems determined to prove to me that I am suffering from depression :mad:......For goodness sake..:wall::wall:..I have spent some considerable time consulting with my GP and my counsellor and they are both saying I am not depressed....just that my emotional resilience to deal with the band of wuckfits that I have unfortunately had to encounter on a daily basis over the last 3 years is (not surprisingly) seriously depleted..(which is why me and my duvet have been developing an intimate relationship ;) :rotfl:)
    • Several other interactions occurred with people that were "not good for me" - 'nuff said - see previous point above

    That being said..

    • I have planned out how to end February fag-free and will be putting that into practice this next week
    • Aunty Smashed is making a flying visit next weekend  (and will be taking back some bog rolls :))
    • I am going to work my behind off tomorrow to catch up :o
    • Piggies are stable healthwise
I need to concentrate on recovering some type of mental equilibration/balance (and a proper sleeping regime) this week after the roller coaster of the last couple of weeks

Hope you all had a good weekend....sorry I;m being a bit carp on your diaries at present

So you respond in a different way? Why should that scare you?
