Wow ... those figures are absolutely huge, Wol.... its hard to take it on board ... you'd be able to retire years earlier if that money was still under your belt, to say nothing of loss of earnings. Its hard to credit that the Ombudsman is being so pigheaded too. But if the FSA can wade in on your side. Well, thats going to be a different kettle of fish! Hope they hit out *really* hard.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

yeah - the ifgures have rather spun my head this wek and my liver has taken a bit of a pounding.
It would be great if FSA can help me...but unfortunately they can;t....All they can do is address the current policy terms and conditions and if necessary ask the company concerned to put them right in the future. So no joy for me - but if it means if even one person that has to go through what I;ve been through (and it;s not that uncommon if you look at the insruance board
) can in the future take the company to task for its shambolic service......and seek some type of reimbursement without the company resorting to evasion and hiding behind unfair terms and conditions....well I will consider this a job well done (I think it;s the needs of the many outweighing the needs of the one etc etc ........did you know I was called Spock at school :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)

Well...Stage 1 of "The Final Countdown" is now completed....and on time because I cancelled my hospital appointment today for my hand treatment (I feel a bit bad about that as I know the nurses will be gutted as the intention today was to smuggle in Ginger or (if he promised to keep quiet) Beechie boy himself to meet them as one of the nurses has piggies of her own)
A 16 page response :eek:.... to The Ombudsman has been emailed.....coupled with an inch thick pile of emails/supporting evidence all numbered and referenced ready to be posted recorded delivery tomoz :T:T...which has taken the best part of 7 working days to complete and I'm now poleaxed.
Special thanks to Z for helpful discussion ...and to lovely Aunty Boo for the [STRIKE]threatening[/STRIKE] encouraging phone calls to keep me going this week:D:D:cool:
The house is a midden :eek::eek:......with either paperwork, washing up, discarded jumpers or hay covering every available surface..:o:o.and the piggies are a bit grumbly cos they had to wait each evening for their veggies
Still I have tomorrow morning and friday all day to try and restore a bit of domestic order before I launch into Stage 2 - the reply to the legal insurance solicitor. That is going to be even worse than the FOS reply...however needs must. Then at least i can just copy the two bundles and send them directly to my no-win no fee solicitor for analysis for Stage 3 (the BIG one.....i.e. Court _pale__pale__pale_)
But right now I;m knackered...and off to bed. I have not enjoyed the last week at all..... and in fact have become extremely anxious/stressed over this whole thing. Time for a chill out methinks (hopefully the sun will shine over the next few days)

Wow. Yes, you definitely need some catchup time - as a person who has continually allowed their life to get out of balance, and so is ill *again*, I can vouch for this fact. Balance is necessary, no matter *what* else is going on. Just thank god for supermarket deliveries and dishwashers....2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Ye gods...spent the whole of this pm washing 4 (grumpy and petulant) guinea piggies :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I am soaked :mad::mad::mad::mad:
But hopefuly they will feel better after todayas we have had dandruff and possible mites/fungal going on this last week
...and they have been scratching like crazy...)
Stil have Beechie, Bailey and Ginger left to do this week (but to be honest they don;t have probls so may leave then for another time....as bath-time is VERY stressing for a piggie)
Had a nice roast dinner this evening (3 chickens for £10 in Sainsburys this week :money::money:)..oooops........NO No..not quite as it sounds..........I put two in the freezer and only ate a small proportion of one tonight
This week I am training myself to live for today...rather than getting in a lather about the future and what I haven;'t done...or the past and what i didn;t do

That sounds good Wol...live for today as nothing can be done to change yesterday and well tomorrow isn't here yet.
Bet the piggies feel better now after their bath...0 -
Nice new mantra, Wol - live for today, que sera sera etc. I often find things tend to work out for the best somehow. Hang in there! One life - your life - live it!0

Hi Wol, congrats on getting stage 1 out of the way.
Don't forget to make some time for yourself and get plenty of cuddles from the piggies too.
Not been around much again this month, but glad to see even though you've had a rotten week, you're still moving forward.
Take care - thinking of you.

Hi Wol
How are you Hun?
I think your `concentrate on today` is a great outlook to have. ...all too often we worry about what we`have done` & what `might happen` & we totally miss the `right now`.
