Wol tell them agengcy bods to take the plug out of the other end of the stream:D

Looks like they took your advice Numpty

Still dry here....and now have a new fantastic lounge set-up with all piggies on beautiful cage racks...and wheeking like crazy....

I'm taking my time atm according to the baby steps (or piggie paws) philosophy..no deadlines, no task lists.....and spookily I am making much better progress than before.

(Won;t go into detail but Family member has had unforseen probs develop in the last week - we await the oncologists report.....so a bit worrying on that front for them..and also for the rest of us....hopefully it is not a recurrence so soon _pale__pale_ as 'twould be bloomin' unfair.:mad:.)

Work and invoicing is up to date (what little there is :o)......so Tomorrow is the full case preparation for the Ombudsman and wed/thursday is the other case to the solicitor. Friday the write-ups will both get forwarded to a no win no fee solicitor...(to be selected :D)..and then it is finally done :T:j:beer::cool:

After that.....it's time to "break my ebay virginity".....ulp _pale__pale_

...and give Beechie and Muffin a bath each (double ulp _pale__pale_ _pale__pale_ )

  • Evening all, Just having a quick lurk then off to bed. Up early in the morning. And I have spent far too much time looking
    at cars tonight.

Seen my dream car, But would need to do a couple of shifts beneath a red light somewhere. LOL. I will have my nice car.
Waited almost 25yrs for it. And would rather have one now than wait to be in a bloomin invalid scooter when I reach my
latter yrs, Although i could fix Go faster stripes on it.

Still have a throat as rough as chuff. So dosing carries on for now. I love my benylin. Methinks I will sleep tonight.

Good news on the writes ups hunni. Keep at it. You are doing so well. Stay positive.

I need to get my ebaying head on as well. Need to sell this wedding dress I have here, Hopefully that will go to car fund.

  • I might have to pile all my ebay stuff into car along with mannequin and come down to you. I find it soooo much easier to
get things done when there is someone around to keep me jollied along.

So come on - a piccy of the dream car...
Still have a throat as rough as chuff.

And this sentence comes in too close after "a couple of shifts beneath a red light"... ;)

    Hi All

I'm still here.....just on the verge of "cracking it"......

Been working out things this week .....jigsaw peices are finally starting to slot into place :D:T:j:beer:...still a bit of navel contemplation to go yet but i really do feel things are starting to equilibrate :j:j

So this week have been concentrating on Ombudsman and solicitors replies which is gutty - have for the last three days been working through every email since the day of the Flood (ie 20th July 2007).

Also spoke to no win no fee solicitor today about both cases....sigh,,,know more than hm about this :o

    BUT....still making GOOD progress.....:)

Tomox = finish off Ombudsman reply.....(and give Maple and Willow a bath [pheeaawwww!!!!]..)....cleaned all boys willies the other day...._pale__pale__pale__pale__pale_...nuff said.....people might still be eating  .......

Ooooh......and mow the grass (possibly "crew cut"...as will be for the last time this year as sun is now very low and trees block it out so grass is wet from dusk til dawn :()

Hmmm Ginger looks like he has a very minor head tilt = more vets bills ......therefore need to fix a day when i can take 3 piggies in for the price of 1 consult :money::money:

I really appreciate all your posts and am sorry I've not been very interactive recently.......but I NEED to sort this stuff out once and for all to get myself back on an even keel.....and I'm very encouraged by progress so far.

Also - the alcohol thingy - while I have not been TT ...this is the first full week I haven;t binged on any one night...max is 500ml wine = 7 units tops...and I have only imbibed two evenigns this week.

So from a routine 70 units a week (10 per day ) over the last 6 months; it's now down to 15 units a week (which in the first week is pretty damn good.:T)...and reducing down to 7 units per week is planned for this coming week :D

I am deffo feeling much better, more in control, and now have laid the foundations to push me forwards to achieving even better 'fings.....

Will keep focused on this....and remember to take advantage of the free ebay listing this weekend

Baby steps are working...and I have stopped beating myself up (so much :o)

glad to see you progressing so well on everything. We know you need to get stuff sorted about the house so we're not 'bothered' about you not posting just worried to make sure you're ok. Does that make sense? doesn't sound like it does in my head
