    Hi Wol

Sorry I haven't been around or even arranged another visit to Forest Row, I have been quite busy and more recently (the last two weeks) I have been battling a horrid virus - I envisage another trip to the doc this week as it doesnt seem to be getting any better although I can now eat without worrying whether or not it will be visiting me again later. I am living on hot ribena and chicken soup and boiled eggs with soldiers.

I am in the process of having a mass declutter too - it isnt really necessary to keep piles and piles of magazines etc...so the new recycling bin downstairs is being used a lot by me:D

Great news about your hand - hopefully this new treatment will work and you will be permanently pain free.

Say hi to the piggies for me. The new cage sounds grand although it does seem to have been a pain in the posterior to fit together. Glad you enjoyed Michael Buble too - I cannot listen to him now without thinking of Auntie Smashed.

I was watching a programme on the channel Yesterday the other day all about wartime food. They made rather a yummy pie called Wootton's Pie made from onion and carrot with a few herbs - they topped it with wholemeal pastry but it could be topped with mashed potato and a bit of cheese.

Karma - get yourself a Remoska and that way you don't need to switch your oven on - I use mine all the time and my electric bill has greatly reduced.

Hi Wol, not been around much at all this month - busy at work (still am), but i'm glad to hear you're getting some success with that electro-shock treatment. Not that i ever thought you needed it...

Looks like you've been keeping busy and having fun. Hopefully that's going to continue for some time.

Will pop back in later to see what's shaking.

    Morning all

I seem to have spent the last 3 days in the car :rotfl::rotfl:
    Back from Leeds on tuesday
To and from Chelmsford on wednesday - hand treatment worked better this week as finally found the right place to put the electrode
High Wycombe to see recruitment agency (more on that later) and then counselling yesterday
Evenings have been spent nursing/hand-feeding Beechie who has been having one of his tummy turns and feeling very sorry for himself :( - however the good news is that last nght it looks like [STRIKE]things are finally moving again [/STRIKE]he's on the mend....until the next time

I can;t quite believe how fixated I have become about guinea pig poo - size, colour, shape, frequency..:o....or the lack of it in Beechie's case.......maybe I should consider adding "guinea gastroenterologist" to my CV :rotfl::rotfl:
Alocohol-wise - only one naughty nite this week so a vast improvement :T ....but not out of the woods yet. A concerted effort for October is planned

Right must whoosh to catch up on things today but will be back later
