Aww Thanx everyone, I'm really touched by your concern. :kisses3:
That's cos we is friends even if only cyber ones ( I was going to put electronic, but thought that might have rather rude connotations!)
I haven;t posted before because things have gone rather backwards and I was, well, a "tad" embarassed. You of all people have NOTHING to be embarassed about...Kim Kardashian on the other hand:eek::eek::eek::eek:
There was I, all set to move to Wales, found a wonderful house (in some unpronounceable town) in mid-august to put an offer in on, and the following day
a) car automatic gearbox failed (where's the shock smiley!) oh flubbins
b) i fell down the stairs and broke my wrist (rather badly actually..I believe the word is "smashed" !) Plaster for 6 weeks!! Oh !!!!!!! *skim reads to bottom of page phew you are ok ish*
The following week
a) Willow decided to become very very ill necessiating hourly feeds 24/7 for 3 weeks (with a wrist in plaster!):eek::eek:
b) the Parish Council decided to try and push through a proposal to allow convrting the Cemetery Chapel opposite my house into a permanent theatre with public performances (40-50 people) 5 days a month...AND sublet it to other theatre companies in the interim:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: (sorry my ds2 is looking over my shoulder and said i should have mor ghosty smileys:o! He likes the way the 'hair' goes up and down).
I nearly posted "Full circle"at that time - if you remember my first diary was started by the lovely Piglet when I had my other hand "indisposed". in June 2008...:rotfl::rotfl:
It's been a gritty few months....and whilst we successfully got Willow through his acute illness, unfortunately he had to be PTS a couple of weeks later owing to his leukaemia.Aw that is very sad for you. He had been such a battler as well. I don't remember but you did get to the bottom of why they kept on getting ill didn't you?
We HAVE (hopefully) stopped the Chapel proposal :T (pending meeting of Parish coucil on 13th Dec) :T:T:T:T:Tbut it has all been very unpleasant involving my car tyres being deflated. semantics, harassment, and goodness knows what else...including my canvassing over 100 households for a petition (30 mins per household - work out the time involved!) Holy cow why would people be so nasty about you having you right to disagree. That would make me feel very uncomfortable. Were the police involved? Don't let them get away with it grrr.
The hand was discharged by the wrist specialist two weeks ago - with luckily no further op to go through despite bone fragments pressing on the nerve (which apparently should resorb) :T:T:T:T:T:beer::beer::beer::beer::beer: yeah (those smileys were just mine from relief)
I have some new guineas (pics later) and have been doing a lot of guinea pig rescue work transporting pigs across the country, mainly to and from Wales. You do realise that that is the universe telling you to move to Wales so that you can do those rescues more easily.:D:D
I have earned very little income from proper work but atm have a contract for almost 24/7 working (very timely before Xmas) so am flat out! Phew does that explain the very late or earlyness you were up at? Glad some good work is coming your way. Hope that will make things financially easier.
Still consolidating re The Flood .....and now preparing final case for the Ombudsman who has literally just written to me and looks like the case has taken a turn for the better - i.e. I might get some money back! (chickens/eggs/hatched comes to mind) If I could keep everything crossed between now and new year I would, but I think I would get some very funny looks on the school run - well funnier than I do now anyway.
Really touched by your concern and thank you:kisses3: like i said we is friends!
Will be back a bt more "regular-like" in the New Year. Yeah!
I'm sure I'll be on before but if not then Happy Chrimbo to everyone and hugs and piggie kisses to all.
xxxx
(P.S. Buffy - hopefully you should be able to work out who I am on Piggybank/GPF......please don;t blow my cover!!)

:hello::hello::hello:
:j:j:j
I'm glad to see you back! Of course, I wasn't actually "keeping an eye on you" - but I did feed you nice biccies and take your photo
You've had such a run of bad stuff, Wol - some of it personal, like the piggies, and some things not, but that still affect you personally - like the insanity around the theatre group.
For 2012, I wish for you, ta-da, health, wealth and happiness! And I'm hoping you can squeeze me in your diary for a cuppa tea and a visit to the piggies on 29th or 30th .... more happiness, to set you up :kisses3:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Nice to see you are still in the land of the living, Wol, despite the ups and downs. Hope the move to Wales works out and you continue to make enough money for your needs. Happy Christmas and New Year if we don't "see" you on here before then. One life - your life - live it!0

HI Wol happy new year mate. Sorry I have been missing in action but not been the best start to the year.
The main thing is we have settled the oil tank claim. only cost us 36k , but it is done now.
Still plodding on here. Having a lovely autumn which perks one spirits up a bit.
Hope you are continuing to be ok, and that you have had no more flat tyres in suspicious circumstances....
