Aww Thanx everyone, I'm really touched by your concern. :kisses3:
I haven;t posted before because things have gone rather backwards and I was, well, a "tad" embarassed.
There was I, all set to move to Wales, found a wonderful house (in some unpronounceable town) in mid-august to put an offer in on, and the following day
a) car automatic gearbox failed (where's the shock smiley!)
b) i fell down the stairs and broke my wrist (rather badly actually..I believe the word is "smashed" !) Plaster for 6 weeks!!
The following week
a) Willow decided to become very very ill necessiating hourly feeds 24/7 for 3 weeks (with a wrist in plaster!)
b) the Parish Council decided to try and push through a proposal to allow convrting the Cemetery Chapel opposite my house into a permanent theatre with public performances (40-50 people) 5 days a month...AND sublet it to other theatre companies in the interim
I nearly posted "Full circle"at that time - if you remember my first diary was started by the lovely Piglet when I had my other hand "indisposed". in June 2008...:rotfl::rotfl:
It's been a gritty few months....and whilst we successfully got Willow through his acute illness, unfortunately he had to be PTS a couple of weeks later owing to his leukaemia.
We HAVE (hopefully) stopped the Chapel proposal :T (pending meeting of Parish coucil on 13th Dec) but it has all been very unpleasant involving my car tyres being deflated. semantics, harassment, and goodness knows what else...including my canvassing over 100 households for a petition (30 mins per household - work out the time involved!)
The hand was discharged by the wrist specialist two weeks ago - with luckily no further op to go through despite bone fragments pressing on the nerve (which apparently should resorb)
I have some new guineas (pics later) and have been doing a lot of guinea pig rescue work transporting pigs across the country, mainly to and from Wales. I have earned very little income from proper work but atm have a contract for almost 24/7 working (very timely before Xmas) so am flat out!
Still consolidating re The Flood .....and now preparing final case for the Ombudsman who has literally just written to me and looks like the case has taken a turn for the better - i.e. I might get some money back! (chickens/eggs/hatched comes to mind)
Really touched by your concern and thank you
Will be back a bt more "regular-like" in the New Year.
I'm sure I'll be on before but if not then Happy Chrimbo to everyone and hugs and piggie kisses to all.
xxxx
(P.S. Buffy - hopefully you should be able to work out who I am on Piggybank/GPF......please don;t blow my cover!!)
