Cheap iPods:£30 shuffle & £60 Nano at Morrisons

Morrisons in Jarrow had loads of shuffles in yesterday for £39.98, and also Samsung 10mp cameras for £30, sat nav £39.98. There was plenty of stock, but no discounted Nanos :-(

Managed to get one from Gravesend, 16GB Nano for £60! I had to phone round a lot of places and a lot said they had sold out. Here are the places I rang that don't have them: Oxted, Redhill, Caterham, Grays, Canvey, Hadleigh, Crowborough.

Aylesbury are either not doing the deal or have sold out. All their iPods are either poorly discounted or not at all.

hi im from scotland and i phoned many of the Morrissons stores to ask about the ipod and they all told me they werent selling them for £20 one woman even said that Money saving expert website was wrong and there was never any confirmation by morrissons that the ipods were on sale.

I spoke to morrisons head office customer services this afternoon. They confirmed this offer did exist but it was only ever a clearance event. As far as they know all stores have run out of the very cheap shuffles etc. Some stores may have some lurking around but they are not sure.
As for scottish stores, I was told all stores has access to this clearance event - it was never sent on a memo across all stores - if they had stock of the old ipods the prices would have been changed if not the store probably would not have been aware of the deal.
