Cheap iPods:£30 shuffle & £60 Nano at Morrisons

people will be very lucky if they get a reduced i pod now as promotion went live at 8am monday morning and most had gone by close of business. the reason some people are finding that the reduction is not as advertised is because all the 4generation nanos and 3 generation touchs that were reduced have gone and these are the newer models that have come in store. i pod shuffles are deffo being sold for £19.99 although not sure what gig (they have them in morrisons bristol) also worth a mention is that they are also selling digital cameras for £20, sat navs for £40 and tv's at heavely reduced prices, but again these are thin on the ground. hope this helps

Morrisons in S!!!!horpe, North LIncs, have got the shuffle reduced but not to 20 pounds and the 8gb nano is reduced from 115 to 110.

My local store of Morrisons in Boroughbridge had this morning several Ipod shuffes and Nanos however they were marked at£29.95 and £100.00 I pointed the promotion to a member of staff but they did not know anything about the promotion. They gave me the head office number and I called from my mobile and explained the promotion and fortunately the customer service adviser telephone the store to inform them of the promotion and I was able to purchase an Ipod shuffe for £20.00 when I mentioned this to my daughter she wanted on so we returned to the store and to my amazement they still had the same amount in stock, but the catch as that they had increased the original prices and we were told that I should not had been able too buy one as the promotion applied to curtain colours and sizes. I explained the promotion referred to 2gb Shuffle and 16gb Nanos and they were on display again I was told that I was wrong and we were not able to purchase any. So Yes Boroughbridge have some but not at the promotion price.

None for £20 in the Carlisle branch. Apparently it's to do with the barcode or serial number on the item so a lot of stores still have them at the higher 'reduced' price of £30 to 40+.

At least that's what the woman at the store said - she may have just been stockpiling them for all I know though!

I picked up a 4gb Black Ipod shuffle from Morrisons in Weston-super-Mare earlier today for £19.98 (reduced from £56.99) they had maybe 6 black or silver in stock and a couple of turquoise at 26.99 i think.

This was around 1pm this afternoon so they might have all been snapped up by now.

It was also the version 3 so slimmer than the one pictured, with the controls on the headphones.

Just so people know every store in London has sold out of iPods and they were the £20 ones. This offer will not be repeated but the guy did seem to suggest that there will be equally amazing offers in the future as they did not expect such a response. Keep your eyes peeled! (might be worth signing up to the Morrisons offers newsletter)

Hi there, i currnelty work at morrisons, this offer is per store, so not all stores will be parpicipating, also the smaller stores such as portsmouth do not stock ipods. Further if anyone lives near portsmouth store or horndean store, portsmouth havnt had any, and horndean are sold out!

Rung Stratford (London) and Chingford. They advised me that the only stores in that region with Techno Bars are Erith and Grays. Rung both stores who told me that they sold out yesterday.
