urgent advice needed.

hi need some urgent advice to give my ex partner.
we recently split. ive been helping out as much as i can with essentials for the kids while her claims are being taken care of.
trouble is i now have no money for two weeks as i spent all on kids as she has nothing to live on.
she has called benefits who say the cant pay her till her claim for child ben is completed. she has checked child tax credit who say they havent yet processed all of her claim and to be patient as it can take 2 more weeks before a decision is made. income support wont pay her because no child ben.
she has literally no money is not allowed a crisis loan because in the past she did not pay her loans back and has hit the maximum she is allowed by law. budget loan wont give her nothing because no IS is being payed. and cant get a community care grant either.
there is no gas left (token meter) electrcity( token meter) she has no food there for the children or herself, i have no money to help her out any further and her family wont do nothing to help her.
surely theres got to be something benefits can do to support the children they cant just leave her with nothing for the children?

The voluntary-run Food Bank project in Ebbw Vale has helped more than 500 people in crisis since it began at the end of last year.
The project’s clients are given food vouchers by local agencies when they have no other means of getting food and these can be exchanged for food parcels containing dried and tinned foods, which are designed to last three days.
When clients visit the food bank, which is open on Thursdays and Fridays, they are also given guidance on where they can seek help.
Project manager Adrian Curtis, 32, said: "Some people have what we call the “hidden hunger” because they may have a high mortgage or expensive car and possessions but suddenly find themselves in a position where they can’t afford food and they have to come to us."
The project is overseen by the Trussell Trust, which runs 43 food banks across the UK, and currently has 14 volunteers.
Another food bank is set to open in Blackwood by the end of the year and there are also projects planned for Newport and Cwmbran.
For more information or to volunteer call 01495 352223.
The Salvation Army will sometime give one food parcel per person but require a referral from someone like Social ServicesIf you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -

Whilst I commend your motivation, she only needs a few weeks food, not a years worth! It would also be worth checking how much you would receive for the items, you probably won't get £1000 for any computer at a pawn brokers.Gone ... or have I?0 -
thanks ill pass this info onto her, and make some calls myself for her.0

it is worth over a grand but sure ill get 200 with a beg plea.
ill see how things pan out tommorrow, perhaps just selling my rifle and some food parcels will help her and my children for the next 2 weeks0
