I am due to move into my first house next week. I want Sky, phone and broadband. Typically, I cant find a 50% deal for love nor money.
Anyone able to point me in the right direction for the best deals at the min please?0 -
As a new customer you are limited to whats on the website unless a sky employee shares one of the discount codes.0

Our box is due to go off today after being a customer for 15 years.
We were offered about a £5 discount to stay, we have the total tv package, not with the phone.
We do want to stay but really want a good deal as we just don't have the cash and feel we deserve it for hanging in there so long!
Im hoping the phone will ring but think I will call them again... last time I was on over an hour and the girl would not help and really was just wasting my time, saying she could only see offers for us if
she reinstated the account and I would have to give a further months cancellation!
Any advice last minute is appreciated!

The best offers come once you are cut off. Why not try a month without it and see what you think. Loads of people i know thought they couldnt live without sky until they gave it up and realised they preferred the money intheir account much more than sky tv.0

Phoned up Virgin couple of days ago to try and get a better deal on my package. We were paying between £50-£55 a month for Phone, basic with only free calls at weekend, XL TV and Broadband. Only got XL TV as daugher wanted to watch Disney channel. Anyway said that Talk Talk were doing deal for £30 a month which included unlimited phone calls, Broadband and YouView box. He said he knew all about that deal and offered me the following:
TV M
Broadband L
Phone - unlimited calls and 150 min a month for 0845 and mobile numbers
TIVO Box
Superhub - all this for £30 a month plus £15 installation fee.
I did say my daughter would miss Disney but he said the TIVO box now has YouTube, so she can search for a Disney channel and hopefully it would be shown.
Engineer coming tomorrow to install - hope everything OK, but have 7 days to change my mind anyway.0 -
I totally agree with socmwils23 last year about may sky refused to offer me a deal and i cancelled. was with virgin for broadband and due a renewal so bargained for tv as well for £14 more.
within 2 weeks of discoonection was offered 6 months free of sky extra, sports & movies if i returned. I took the offer and cancelled at 6 months now been offered 12 months for 1/2 price (extra+sports+movies) and in addition now HD for only £2.50 on top:beer::beer::beer:0 -
I called virgin to ask what they could do on £65pm bill with v+ box and a non + box upstairs with xl tv, phone and 60mb broadband.
They couldn't do much until I said I would upgrade if I had the money- then was offered Tivo box and + box upstairs with everything else the same for £53pm so a saving of £12pm just for asking!
Very happy as installation charges waived too :-)0 -
Hi all,
I cancelled Sky a few weeks ago. I am in the process of moving my b/band and phone (free w/end and evening calls) from Sky to Talk Talk for less than £7 per month (including line rental).
How did you get that Talk Talk phone and b/b for that price, i do like sky's b/b but for those savings i would move.0 -

I'm on the minimum package with Sky paying just for TV only at £21 a month and said i only watch the old regular channels 1-5 so why am i paying £21 a month when i can get the service for nothing. After they tried selling me BB & phone i said i work for BT (which i do) and they reduced my payments to £5 a month for 3 months so saved £45 :T0 -
Got the call from Sky after two weeks without subscription. Offered 50% off for 12 months, so 13 pound month for entertainment extra.0
