Always get some sort of reference for offers they give you...0

I left Sky 3 month ago, at the time the most they would discount was 20%. I have now had a postal offer from them to come back to Sky. They are offering 75% off for 12 months, plus £50 credited to my Sky account. I have to take the HD package at full price (£10.25) per month for the 12 month period, so I can get Sky, including the movie channels for under £20 a month for a year. It really does not pay to stay loyal to them, so dump them & see what they will offer you.0

The MSE code was the same principle as the staff codes which is why they are not paying out.
Which would be sky's fault for using the same code. They should take responsibility for their actions. I did everything correctly. Just goes to show big companies will take you for a ride if they can. Sky never again.SECRET OF SUCCESS IN LIFE:

How long before you can be classified as a new customer to Sky again?0

I recently got the Sky offer for ex customers.
I cancelled a few months ago and the fliers went from 50% off to 50% off plus £50 and now 75% plus £50. I then rang up and got the 75% offer plus a 1TB box for £49, which the credit will pay for but now have two boxes.
They didn't initially credit my account with £50 and had to raise a complaint which got it put on after 1 day.
I've got the Sky World HD package from £65.75 to £23 .... not bad I think.
LAST year I got 50% off and £100 credit, so wasn't too bad.0 -

I called Sky 2 nights ago and selected the option “if you are thinking of leaving us” and got through to the call centre in Glasgow.
I asked how much notice I had to give to leave (I had no intention of leaving though) and when asked why I was thinking of leaving I explained that due to the increased costs of living I have to give up some no essential luxuries as I can no longer afford them.
I was paying £48.25pm (£12.25 for phone line rental, £10 for unlimited broadband and £26 for TV entertainment extra package) and I explained that as I do not even use the landline and the broadband in my area is not great I considered it a lot of money.
My bill has been reduced to £36.50pm (£3 line rental, £7.50 unlimited broadband and £26 TV). Although £11.75 does not sound a lot, this is an on-going reduction and not just for 6/12 months. I was also offered a HD+ box for free with a reduced £5pm subscription or a HD+ box for £44 without HD subscription. I haven’t taken up either offer “as I can’t afford it” (really I’m just not interested in HD) and was told to call back in a few months as my “loyalty points” may qualify for me to get them for free!0 -
I received a 50% off voucher from Virgin through the post - so thought I may as well give them a call. They offered me TiVo box and a Virgin+ box (or whatever it is called) with the full works, 100mb Broadband and Unlimited Calls all for £58 per month for 6 months (VIP PACKAGE) as 50% off. i can then call back in 6 months to downgrade to (Premier Package) same amount of channels, 60Mb broadband and just weekend calls - which is full price for £91.50/month for 12 months. I called Sky to let them know as I pay £85/month with Multiroom plus SkyProtect and all they could do was offer me two new boxes and no deduction on my bill even though I have been with them for so long. So over 18 months works out I save £85. They say a change is as good as a rest - I'm off to Virgin!0

For Virgin Media, what number are people calling to try and negotiate? Is there a number to call to get through to a section for "thinking of leaving Virgin?" or must it be the usual to customer services?0
