These offers are targeted to individual former customers and authorised by Sky to their account. You won't be able simply to use a "Come Back to Sky" offer, telephone number and code that has been sent to somebody else.Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance

Just spoken to BT about adding BB Infinity to my Unlimited Anytime Call Package and they quoted £28.50 for 3 mths and £37.50 from 4th month onwards. That is for 40Gb download allowance.
Their cheaper package would only cost £14.60 for 3 months and £30.60 for the 4th mth onwards and this would also include again Unlimited anytime calls but I think the download allowance is 10Gb and 16Mb speed.
My question is that I have VM BB Large at the moment and don't know if the cheaper BT package is equal download amount to VM (although I think VM is unlimited isn't it on Large?).
Anyway I surf the net most of the day now I am retired and use emails, occasional iPlayer downloads perhaps one a week and that is it.
Could I get away with the cheaper package on BT ???0 -
My son and girlfriend are moving into a new flat shortly and want to get Sky. I am always encouraging them to use Quidco etc but when he looked at the T&C for thev Quidco offer it says not applicable for buildings with over 5 flats. The flat they are moving to is in a block with quite a few more than that. Any ideas of how they might get round the cashback t&c or should he just call Sky and haggle.0

On your internet usage pattern, fibre is a waste of money - you would get away with a similar package to mine eg Plusnet Value - up to 8Mb speed,10GB per month thru the BT line.0 -
Package Before Sky + with Sports & ESPN & 1 Sky Multiroom Box was £64 per month or £768 per year
Called to haggle and received Sky +HD 1TB with Sports & ESPN and also 1 Sky HD Multiroom subscription and 1 Sky Plus multiroom subscription for an extra £2.50 per month. Also ESPN free over the summer (!) so £56.50 for so much more!
I was on the phone for over 45 minutes and the agent spoke to her 'manager' twice to authorise apparently.0 -
Having just bought an apple tv I wanted fibre optic Internet speeds so I upgraded from their normal £7.50 net to their new fibre optic net at £20 per month.
I rang today asking to cut back on my fairly basic package to offset the extra cost and the offered me 1 year of phone line rental at £1 per month (instead of £12 odd). Thus meaning my upgrade is only about a £1 per month more. :j0 -

Just spent 10 mins on phone to Sky.
Not much competition in this area from VM and others but managed to get down from £52 to £41.60 for next nine months. Keeping all current packages.
Better than nothing,

Hi everyone,
I am set to finish my 12 month friends & family offer with Sky at the end of May and want to renew. I currently get:
Sky+ HD
Movies & Sports
Line Rental
Broadband
for £46.75 p/m instead of £82.
It seems the best way to get the price down is to claim that Virgin/BT will offer less, but I can't find any similar offers to "threaten" them with that aren't significantly more expensive.
Anybody else had any luck specifically after the friends & family offer? If not may have to do what others have been doing and cancel for a month or two until they send me a good offer...
Thanks!0
