Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.
  • I've always considered myself to be a MSE'r, as it's exclusive to this site. Forumer and forumite is more a generic term that's used for those who are members of any site with a forum.

If I had to choose I would go with forumer, which is how I voted, as the latter doesn't sit well. As someone else has pointed out here, it's akin to a mineral.

To add: I always refer to this site, when recommending it or talking to friends, as MSE. I'm always giving this site a plug when I'm asked what websites I visit on a regular basis, especially on surveys I do. :)
    Life's what you make it....

"I've got one, two, three, [STRIKE]four[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]five[/STRIKE]... senses working overtime..", XTC.

Life beyond voluntary work scares me, but what else is there?

this! it should be mse'r or regular forum users. i guess forumer if it must be one of the two, but that covers any forum and has no bearing to mse itself.

Forumite rolls off the tongue more easily, although for some bizarre reason it makes me think of Scientology ;)
Have to say I thought people who posted on the forums were forum members because one has to join and become a member before one can post. Still, what do I know :o

    None of the above, so:
    "User"
    Or
    "Forum user".
Hi there! We’ve had to remove your signature. It was so good we removed it because we cannot think of one so good as you had and need to protect others from seeing such a great signature.
