Am I allowed to vote for crackdowns on both areas? Benefit fraud and getting big business to pay the corporation tax that smaller companies have to pay.

As you have recently had MPs & the Police not only avoiding jail but avoiding the court process for obvious criminal acts you can hardly expect the "yobs" to give a sh*t about what you think.... ;)
The police case didnt. It went to trial, it was thrown out due to contrasting evidence.

Labour MPs will face court over their alleged illegal claims activities... and rightly so, thieving filthy communist b@stards...

It's harder to catch tax evaders and thus more expensive.

There should be a wealth tax, that would catch big tax evaders.

I haven't read the rest of this thread (yet) but....

it's more lucrative to get tax evaders. They can/do have to pay up the cash quickly - particularly businesses. Benefit claimants can go decades paying back less than half what they owe in some cases.

However each case needs some balance - you cannot leave either unchecked, or it will ruin us all.

    Spot on, OP.

And here is your answer put in simple terms so that even the right wing ranters on here can understand it:

90% of the White Van Man tax fraudsters in this country, when they're not ripping off HMRC and selling your kid's school short of its badly needed roof or the NHS of its medicines budget, are busy indulging in their two other favourite hobbies - voting Tory and ranting against benefits claimants.

Can't wait to see where the red-faced Poodlecleggs of this world will stand on this.

My question to Mr Cameron is this - why are you taking Labour initiatives and pretending they are yours? can't you think of any new initiatives? This particular one has been around since last year, its not new and the councils have been working with Equifax to find HB fraud! Same goes for your Incapacity benefit policies - they too were Labours' who were bringing everyone off IB and onto EAS thus allowing a new medical process and detect fraud!
Mr Cameron - Your the FRAUD!!
  • The answer to this is very simple and this is because most of the the mp's from the top down are at it;)

Wrong; Liebour stole tory policies to appear centre based then enforced the lisbon treaty, multiculturalism and unionism through the back door.

Cameron tells it like it is; the Labour party spent this country into bankrupcy and anyone who voted for them should be ashamed

One thing you forget is that we are competing with every European country to get large businesses to set up and stay in the UK.

So if you increase corporation tax then the business will just set up elsewhere i.e. like the businesses who had their head quarters in Ireland. And as Europeans under the EU are mobile then you will find that people will move to where the jobs are.

This means the UK will lose out not only on corporation tax but the profit that comes from having jobs in the country.

Hence one of the reasons we have lax employment laws in this country compared to lots of countries in Europe.
    I'm not cynical I'm realistic :p

  • Tax avoidance in my opinion is a sport for the individaul whom pays more than half of their income in tax these days , if you can get the edge then go for it.But multinational companies should pay the same tax on money earned here rather than bounce it via safe havens.

The argument that it creates inward investment is a myth , i am old enough to remember that the tories destroyed industry in the uk to remove the union power and then that any company that came here in the 80s was for handouts then !!!!ed off back abroad to the next handout when it stopped.

Benefit fraud isnt fair though , but neither is the tory plan for mass exoduses from one area to another , if you dont find a job they will dump you into mostly labour held councils.Whats now called sink estates were actually tory coralles that never got any employers other than minimum wage...which is where cameron is headin next the destruction of the minimum wage.

I dont like the fact that credit agencies can earn 5 percent of what they find though , smells like a new dawn of wheel clamping to me.

Bailing out the banks saved our !!!! from the fire the last time , but unless we get manufacturing back and/for rebranding british made as the best we can get for the same price then its still a downhill ride. Its time that imports from china/india got hammered with high taxes to level the playing feilds a little more...its all good shouting fairtrade products and the like but were we buying them at uk paid wages and calling that fairtrade .. no , because its cheaper to buy from some kid slave in india to clother some kid here.
Have you tried turning it off and on again?
