Maybe it is a new model then, but I thought that Acer, as anyoneelse was pushing the dual core processors now. Maybe they want to fend the opposition of the Dell Inspirons which attract the low-cost end of the market?

is the 5100 series the same as 5044 surely thats the 5000 series

oh well i have gone for it with quidco and staff discount should be around £348 bargain if the spec stands up - if not theres a 7 day cooling off period

going to buy this myself, if you take a screen shot of comets page and dont want the lappy take the screen shot in with you plus a screen shot of the same model showing the full spec. off another site and if it is different then theres your reason for return

Yeah this laptop does look like a cracking deal but i would not buy it until the full specs are shown on the site!
