  • Anyone know what battery time is standard and what the best time is?

I have seen a few laptops with only 1.5 hours, that surely has to be one at the bottom of battery life for a laptop - anyone know what is standard and what's best?

    my brother has this fujitsu

http://www.comet.co.uk/comet/html/cache/572_337307.html - it claims 4 hours he gets about 3.5-4 from it

    not bad

I was the OP on this one (I buy a lot of laptops) and will be leaving my order open for delivery on the 28th. However I needed another machine this week and the best deal I could come up with for next-day delivery was this one at Laptops Direct.
It's only a Sempron but the 1GB RAM should compensate for that and it's got a good disk. Remember that AMD procesors do much more per GHz than Intel ones so should not be compared on speed alone. I'd say it's suitable for anything bar hardcore gaming an video editing. Lots of storage for pictures and MP3s though.
As I type this I'm getting a call that it's just been delivered. Not bad as it was ordered yesterday afternoon.

I bought the exact model but from savastore for £472.00 inc delivery! Plus 3% from quidco!

  • Anybody got one yet?
  • Hi all,

Just to say you can make this cheaper by using woolies instead.
Use 10% off discount code ___
And quidco for 5% cash back

Bringing the total down to £357 including delivery

    Now that IS a Bargain

*EDIT* Just found out the code does not work with comet@woolworths products
