    Nearly there:

    1) paid £10 off my overdraft
    2) had a good walk at lunchtime
    3) spent 10 mins decluttering my desk

    4) done 10 mins work on one of the OpenLearn courses I've been looking at
    5) shared happiness project site link

    6) made a donation to a charity that means a lot to me
    7) shared the day with lovely DFW people

    8) come up with ideas for night out with Mr S (to talk about tonight)
    9) started work on writing a tutorial as part of my digital trainer qualification

    Just one more to go!

  • Heeeeeeeeeeeelp.

I am getting my hair off...

    Right, today I have:

    1. done 3 loads of laundry (washed and dried on the line-saldy not ironed YET)
    2. went to job centre
    3. clean kitchen twice
    4. made lunch for family
    5. tidied house (twice)
    6. tried to figure out what is best regarding benefits...which is where you guys come in...I need HELP

    Scenerio 1:
Get job thru 'Train to Gain' 16+ hours per week then attend college.
    Pro's-earning a (small) wage
Con's-hours will be weekends which dont always suit with DH shifts

    Scenerio 2:
Go to college full time at the cost of £800+
Pro's:finish in a year, have school hols off with kids therefore no childcare costs and finished within a year
Con's: No wage (although, I am assuming some CTC/WFTC or whatever the !!!!ers are called)

    Scenerio 3:
Just get a bloody job and get on with it...

I have tried 'Entitled To' and cannot make heads or tails of it. I swear I have a proper phobia of filling in forms.

Finally-I hope Maz comes to visit. Any idea when?

And Billie-a wonderful friend recently sent ME flowers when I was down and it STILL makes me happy. Such an amazing thing to do for someone.

    Sammy-you do make me lkarf.

Elfen - Chinese won't help your tummy!

Tried to finish my last bit of sewing but wasn't in the right frame of mind so of course it turned into a mangled mess.....sods law.

Gammon needs to come out of the SC in a bit and then I can make a rissotto to go with it.

Ta Bunbun, hadn't thought of it like that.
I know it's more outlay, but scenario 2 seems the one most able to be worked at. I mean, you're at college FT and trained in a year and you don't have childcare costs to worry about then, you could always do mystery shops and Cambridge around it, so that would work. Yes, its £800, but for a year training that's not bad, especially if you know someone who might take you for the odd day you're off in the week so you get some practise in, and that would give you money too.
Pooks, I haven't had it going funny all day, I've kept food down and I can't be arrised to cook right now. Just feeling low too, so I know the depression is cycling back in...which is why as of tomorrow I'm back on the exercising as that helps it not be so bad.

Buns - why dont you give the tax credit people a call and ask them for their advice...they should be able to ask the right questions and give you a rough idea of what's what.....

Is there any way of paying the £800 full time course fee in installments to make it easier?

Hi Bun, I might have missed it but do you have to pay full college fees?
