Lunchtime walk done - cleared my head from staring at a spreadsheet for most of the morning. Bought myself some probiotic multivitamins to try and sort my dodgy stomach out and give me a bit of a boost.

Have come up with a couple of options for a night out on Wednesday but will speak to Mr S about them tonight.

Off to do ten mins of course...

am passing this on to you because it definitely worked for me today, and we All could probably use more calm in our lives!

Some doctor on the TV this morning said that the way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started.

So I looked around my house to see things I'd started and hadn't finished and before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of shhhardonay, a bodle of Baileys, abutle of vocka, a pockage of Pringlies, the res of the Chesescke a n a box a chocolets. Yu haf no idr ow gud I fel.

vI think it summed up my alcoholic evening the other Saturday/Sunday night! :rotfl::rotfl:

I think you should have a 10 minute break Bookie :D

OK I've read about 'Minds and mental phenomena' for 10 mins.. much rather carry on doing that than go back to the spreadsheet. Ooh I discovered the University bookshop on my lunchtime walk - not sure that is a good thing!

Well there's a first - just spent 20minutes in Boots and didn't buy a single thing. In fact I had an armful of stuff and put it all back!:A

Which was a bit daft as I did actually need the shower gel for my gym bag...

I do that quite a lot in boots...I always get sucked in to their offers...then change my mind before I get to the till.

    However, once in a while I don't!!!

I have had a 10 minute bath.....now I have to watch a webinar on some online bookkeeping software that a potential new client will be using to see if its any good....

    Morning all

I shall aim to do 10 things involving 10....
    1. [STRIKE]
      1. Pay £10 into the ISA
      2. Pay £10 into CC1
      3. Pay £10 into CC2
      4. Pay £10 into CC3
      5. Pay £10 into the "christmas" savings
      6. Pay £10 into the "DH turns 40 in 3 months" fund
      7. Spend 10 minutes listing what's in the cupboards
      8. Spend 10 mintues making a shopping list for the rest of the week
      9. Spend 10 minutes writing a new list of who/what I've got/need for Christmas.
      10. Spend 10 minutes decluttering a cupboard in order to bulk buy some flour and pasta (flour prices set to rocket over the next few weeks due to exports from Russia stopping)
      [/STRIKE] :D
    All done! Hoorrah.

Have just made an oven mitt for MIL's christmas hamper too (and cut out the bits I need for a pot holder too - just need to sew it but have run out of oomph)

DD2 is still feeling a bit under the weather so is having another pj day - but that seems to involve eating me out of house and home.

Luc, hope everything goes well with the ecg, it's probably just a precaution.

For my ten mins I'm going to the doctors, don't know how long I'll be in there but an appointment is for ten mins so I think it counts. I'll probably do some ten minute bursts of housework later on, I've seriously lost my mojo lately due to sleepless nights worrying about health so seeing the doc should sort that out.

Morrisons had big bags of pasta buy one get two free last week, don't know if it's still on, but someone mentioned needing some.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
