Selling car on Ebay - am I being scammed?

Thanks for all the replies. Just a bit of extra info; last night I had 2 bidders (1 of whom was the first person that phoned me) that met the reserve price, both of which were first registered within the last few days. I think my main concerns were based on having received the calls so quickly after listing the car.
I have just checked the listing again and there are bids from 2 new members (zero feedback) which have taken the bids well above what the car is worth, which makes the listing fairly pointless as far I as can see. Any ideas what could be happening here?0 -

Could be a simple time-waster or something more advance.
Sadly, can't be sure of either and if the latter, what sort of scam it could be.
If you are not happy with the current bids, remove them it's free and easy to do OP.
You can request that bidders with 0 feedback cannot bid, unless they have a credit card registered against there account.
I know from selling on there, that sometimes someone will see a car on eBay and not have an account and make one, just to bid on the car you are selling, can't be sure this is happening in your case however.
Does anyone know you are selling it on eBay that knows you?
I would fully do the sell over eBay, as you have some 'kind' of protection, failing which stick it in AutoTrader

i dont see how you could be scammed here - you hold all the cards - let people view it, if they want to buy it then dont give them the keys until they give you the money - simple0

All seems rather strange to me, historically most people bid with minutes to go to avoid pushing the price up. Always worth setting the parameters on you listing to ensure that no one with feedback of less than 10 can bid.
Good luck dealing with ebay if they don't pay, its a rather torturous process at times. I had a guy buy a car on BIN and then close his account. Ebays response was 'you need to give them 7 days to reply" - explaining that he had closed his account within 3 hours of buying the item seemed to melt their brains and they were unable to cope

Their next suggestion was that I try ringing him, I couldn't even get an email to him due to account closure and they were suggesting I rang him at home, following which they reverted to 'you need to give him 7 days to reply' clearly ebay support has been outsourced

But if you agree to a "Cash on Delivery", isnt their a chance they will demand a test drive, and then offer you lower?, to say nothing of the chance of fake money?0
