Neighbour crashed into my car

Thanks for all your help on this guys. Just thought I'd update; my dad went round and said that we weren't accepting his mate doing the work and he stuck his bottom lip out and said "urgh, i don't even care, do what you like" and shut the door in my face. My car was fixed and is now lovely and now I run in the house whenever I see him.

Did you report him to the police? He would have got 6 points for failing to stop and report it, His insurance
dont have much of an excuse to payout after either.

I got a nice payout years ago when someone hit my car whilst it was parked. Police prosecuted him and sent me his
details and his insurance details, He had not reported the whole thing to his insurance either.

I bet his insurance went up a bit after that, 6 points failing to report and notify them.

I didn't, no, I think if it was a stranger I may have done but I live right opposite him and am scared of him. I'd love a pay out, I'm a poor student, but I didn't think to do that at the time so it's tough:)

Oh! Plus I forgot to say, the courtesy car I had while mine was being fixed was mysteriously vandalised outside my house too... coincidence maybe... but i'm not sure.

Scared of him? I would have had a nice warm glow about myself knowing he maybe bigger and scarier, But
his insurance bills will also be a LOT bigger with 6/8 points for failing to stop/report an accident.

I would then add him to my xmas card list. But i do have an evil streak, Violence/anger are not needed in this
day and age when you can sue someone instead. Or report them for minor things and make their lives a misery.
