Boys are fit and healthy for the chop booked in for Tuesday. I asked about Programme injections and the vet said topical treatment is just as effective and cheaper too in the long run. Also it does treat flees which Programme doesn't so I was happy with that advice.
Went to give presents to neighbours who had looked after the boys when we were away and they told us it took Jack no time to be friendly but Thomas lasted a whole 10 days before he would come near them. Jack even ended up in their house for hours sitting next to them guess he missed human company. They are coming over on Friday so will be interesting to see if they remember him and are friendly. (Had 1 glass of wine while overthere)
The guy who did our bathrooms want one of his clients to see our wetroom so they are coming along tomorrow morning so that will mean I have to get the suitcases unpacked and sorted out. The house is still a total mess and I have no motivation.

Morning
Well my table sits 6 without the extention leaf so no more invites as I am lazy. Going to make Ryebread (flour from IKEA) then get loads of cold meats to have with various things as open sandwiches. Ham, beef, salami, salmon, herring (IKEA) prawns and some pate with bacon plus hard boiled eggs. Basically you make your own open sandwich as you like it not something most English people are used to and they do take a while to get into the spirit of things so we shall see. For pudding I plan to make a Danish birthday cake (lagkage) means layered cake. Here is a few pictures:

The birthday cake is thin layers of sponge cake stacked with cream and whipped custard with loads of fruit decorated as above. I cannot be asked to make the sponge layers so will try to find something I can buy that works the same.
