Thanks Guys remember the house is not mine and the one on the picture is likely to be sold before I get it obviously. I appreciate the encouragement so please feel free to post on here. TPA you are welcome to the moving in party in 5 years. Lets hope we both look lovely and slim by then. Good luck with the diet and exercise & RemovationMan will take a look at that diet sounds good.
Just been to the shops loads of things reduced due to sell by date and got some nice fruits too. £45 in total but nothing in the fridge.
Off to the gym at 5pm for about 1 hour quite looking forward to it. Got two Mystery Shop jobs for this week felt weird not having any to look forward too.
On a more horrid note just had to wash Thomas as he had runny poo all over his tail. They have really grown up while we have been away. Thomas have gone more brown and Jack longer haired and darker so they look more alike. Will try to post a picture of them later for those who don't know my lovely boys.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Hi Tall Girl,
Looking forward to your new diary, though I can't see any pics of the house - maybe because I have a Mac browser?
Can totally relate to your comments re weight - I am now 13st 5lbs and and am 42. Too much! And a lot of it has gone on in the last year. So maybe we can encourage each other!!
Increasingly activity levels is probably a good start. I used to go to the gym 3 or 4x a week, now I never do and that I think, has resulted in my metabolic rate going down, so I burn up energy less quickly.
Like the idea of a five year plan. My mortgage has just gone down to sub-£20k and I'm starting to think ahead...

No, I can't see either
Please help TG, I need to know where I'll be going for my hols in 5 years
Good luck, you were very focused in paying off your mortgage so, as this has emotional resonance for you, am sure it will be easy :rotfl:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
Mortgage Balance = £0

Sorry about that I think the house must have been sold or taken off the market. It was a lovely 3 bed wooden house but here is on in the same street I also like http://www.edc.dk/en/Sag/?pid=47178052. Its more money and only 2 bedroom but remember its only an indication of what I would like no idea what will be for sale in 5 years time. Hope this one stays for sale a bit longer so you get to see it.
Managed to get to the gym yesterday, 20 min cross trainer and 10 min on the rower then some stretches. Felt really good. Going to BodyPump tonight too. Was good foodwise too only ate 10 wine gums and 1 biscuits rest was good.
Working from home today but must try and get my suitcase unpacked. Did all the washing at my mums so it can all go back in the wardrobe which helps.
Going to call the IFA today to sort out the report. I really wish I have never asked them to look into the pensions for us as they recommend we do not change anything. I dread the bill or I might have to buy some income protection to offset the fee. Will update you when I have spoken to him this afternoon.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Hi TallGirl
Loving the new diary. I too will shortly be looking for a new project - as i will be MF next month (albeit before i'm 50 not 40!) and a 5 year plan looks like a good option. I'll be following with interest.
Good luck - and the places you're aiming for look gorgeous!!!!!

Thank you Poppyoscar and well done on being MF 50 is not a bad age to be MF. It is such a nice feeling but also strange to have to think about savings rates and getting the most out of your money when previously I just chucked everything at the mortgage. Hopefully we can share tips on ISA's etc I am aiming to keep this diary more focussed and less about diets kittens etc.Save £12k in 25 No 49
