OK so the spending continues but I did need new bras my newest ones are 5 years old (OK I have loads). £55 in House of Fraser no discount vouchers or cash back but I did get free delivery.

Looked into switching our joint account as DH finally agreed of course Coop nolonger offer the £200. May wait a bit and see what else comes along.

Nice evening with friend she is so much better now and settling into work again. Sounds like boss is realising he has treated her unfairly.

Had too much to drink though as I had 2 beers and at least 2 glasses of wine. Had been good up to that point. MS changed to Saturday so will go to the gym tonight.

Off to the doctors at 10.40 so best get dressed and on with some work.

Hi TG, yikes re your bra's, like many other women on here I'm sure I have some bra's that age but certainly have many others that are mcuh newer :D Have you ever tried any from Bravissimo, they really are great and I don't think that much more if anything than some in places like M&S, they are also currently doing 3.9% cashback for on-line purchases via Topcashback

I'm glad your friend is doing ok back at work as it was easy to see from your posts that you were worried about her

Did you manage to get to the gym? You put me to shame as apart from a housework frenzy this morning I've hardly moved for the rest of the day :o

Hope you got on ok at the docs

Thanks abouttimetoo that is really usefull we already have Santander Accounts so would not qualify for that and only pay £1000 a month into the joint account so would have to do some money shuffling that why the Coop one was great it was only £800 pay in. Might leave it now until the new year maybe something else will come up.

Been a good productive weekend, done the food shopping and meal planned. Taken bottles to the bottle bank and got the outdoor fire in. Went to Macro and spent £78 (offer on CAVA) but got voucher for another pot or knife which I might be able to use as a xmas present.

    Week starting 31st Oct
99p bottle of water (did not get receipt so cannot claim it back)
£45 Black skinny jeans (have wanted some for ages and ages)
£55 on 6 bras (really really needed some the others have holes in them and lost shape)
£1.20 on twix bar and paper.
£78 in Makro on mainly non-essentials
£62 on train tickets but will get £53 refund)
    Total spend £242

Ebay made £7.95 as my shoes did not sell but I have relisted them. Also got £30 Sainsbury's Gift voucher from when we took out the home insurance.

Went to the pub to use the free pint voucher from the Daily Mail. They said they did not participate so DH walked out. Quite proud of him for doing that they were listed on the website as participating and the last two times we have gone the food has been awful. Time to find a new pub or stop going all together.

DH and I had a chat about our garden furniture its really old and we do use it a lot. We have no shed so it lives outdoors under a cover but still gets a bit but rubbish each year. DH said he would quite like the cube furniture and as its Winter I saw this site with the one we wanted. Its about £150 cheaper than everywhere else and that incl the 4 footstool which the one I have seen at £550 does not. Not sure though and a bit of a pain having it around outside under cover until Spring. Nice though. http://www.rattan.co.uk/rattan-dining-sets/the-cube-rattan-garden-set.html

The £300 we won at the casino would just about pay for it would have to buy the cover though. Seems we are always spending money but I do really like it.

Registered my Egg replacement Barclay Card and joing the Debt Free Wanna Be Make £10 a day challenge. I think it will spur me on to making some extra money from Ebay and surveys as well as spend less. Will continue to chart the weekly spends and update my signature for the £10 a day challenge.

Rats the £309 set sold out over the weekend but found one on EBay for £380 plus £20 carriage no footstools though.

Forgot to update on the doctors visit. She felt my neck we chatted a bit and she booked me in for blood tests. My thyroid is swollen but still have to wait a week to have it done then a week to get the results so no news for two weeks.

Chilling out this evening I love the Gadget Show and the Hotel Inspector.

Re. switching accounts, you dont need to put in £1,500 in the first direct acc, as long as you have another holding with them.

I just switched and set up a savings account at the same time and put a £1 in it.

Obviously check they havent closed the loophole!!

Thanks Brodiebobs I will certainly look into that.

Things not that great MIL still in hospital and now she is not eating as it makes her sick. FIL is really worried as she is not able to get out of bed and walking.

Worse though is last night at 7pm was the last time we saw Jack. He was in and out a few times but not since 7pm and this morning he was not in for breakfast. I thought he would be back this evening (I was out from 9am to 2.30pm) but no. We have called looked around and spoken to the people over the back from us where he normally goes. They know of him but he was not locked in their garden.

Really worried now its been more than 24 hours, feel sick just want him home.

Bougth the garden furniture, £400 incl delivery now just got to spend £40 on a cover.

Thanks ATT he is sadly still not home trying to stay positive but it's hard. MIL is getting better she is still in hospital but getting physio now. I have a horrid sore throat and feel like death warmed up.

Off to London for dH birthday treat he does not know about the musical giving him the tickets tonight. Not sure I feel like going but might take my mind off Jack. Going to put some more posters up tonight.
