Hi TG
I've not been on here for 10 days ago so I'm so sorry to see Jack is still missing. My sister has cats and they have gone missing on occassion and I know how truly upsetting it can be. It sounds like you are doing everything you can but I know that won't make it any easier for you.
Hope you are feeling better now, I can see you have posted about being ill
Take care
Regards

Awe that made me cry! I keep reading your updates hoping this would happen.. I'm so pleased for you but especially for him poor little man must have been so scared...thank goodness he's back and has a loving home to make him healthy and happy again...I bet his brother is pleased too....
Just shows all your hard work with the posters and not giving up pays off as the neighbours knew to contact you straight away..welll done.0 -
Thanks guys it is so so nice you have him back. We got the call from Animal Search UK at 9.30 to say someone at no 8 had a cat in their garage they thought was Jack. I asked if it was still alive and he said yes. I took the detials but they are only 5 doors away so we ran out the door. The man was in the garage a large double one with a light under the car (building project so under cover). I could not get to see under the car so kept asking is it fluffy does it have a white chin. Eventually he got it down to the front of the car and with some kitbits we got him calm enough to grab him. They had seen our posters when they got back from holiday but before and after that they had been in the garage several times with the door open. I guess he must have been too scared to get out.
They did not want the reward said we should give it to charity so I might still claim it from the insurance (£30) and donate it to an animal charity (not sure which one).
Taken some of the posters down and put a found notice on the others to take down later. Want to say thanks to people for looking and let them know.
Jack is bit tatty looking have brushed him a bit and he is so so friendly slept on the bed last night and has not bitten us once. He had hissed at us so he has got his attitude back for sure.
Here is the little trouble maker:

I am not sure how long he had been in there, there was poo and wee on the floor and he is very skinny so quite sometime. My guess is he ran in there got stuck while they were on holiday and maybe got out again this weekend but was too confused to make it home so ran back into the garage.Save £12k in 25 No 49
