    The hospital advised my FIL to stick to plain rice or pasta and chicken - no sauces or butter and no fruit or veg until he'd managed something "solid" at the other end.

    My mum has 'cooked' me a meat pie. Tinned meat and frozen pastry. :rotfl:
    In the oven as we type with new pots and veg from my friend's garden in the steamer. :)
