I'm back. What a day! Hospital appointment was ok - in fact we were out before we were supposed to be there.
Then found out that my (ex) MIL died this morning so had to find my 2 DDs to make sure they are ok - a bit sad but very mature about it all. She was a good MIL to me.

Suppose I'd better do some work now.

When I was studying for exams I couldn't switch off to sleep. I used Boots' sleep cones and they really worked. Hubbles swears by Nytol.

    Well ladies you did ask!

It would be better than some of the crap I found on tv recently.

Bookie - Sorry to hear about your ex MIL :grouphug:

Have just blanched another 2 kilos of runner beans for the freezer, picked in the last of the lettuce and picked enough blackberries (growing over the back fence) to start my rumtopf off (well if I had any rum that is...)

Jacket spuds in for tea.....I'm done in now.

Really sorry to hear that Bookie, hugs x

I got the wrong day for writer's group, so just sat and wrote a few bits on my own, then met my support worker.

Got back to a confusing email from social services about what I'm allowed to spend on, hopefully it'll be sorted on weds when the social worker visits.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Thought you were having a sitting doen day Pookie. :rotfl:

Far too early to think about Christmas - even when it gets to the 29th August. What a nightmare site - enough to send anyone round the bend. Had to laugh at the thought of cleaning the front porch in early September ready for Christmas!
