Well that's another wall cleaned down, and the top of the fridge and stereo that was on the top of it cleaned (fridge and stereo were gross, as they hadn't been cleaned for a long time and the dust had gone sticky on them, and they needed neat stardrops to get it off). Seeing how easily the stardrops cut through the grease, I may have a go with that on those stubbon sticky spots (doesn't matter too much if the paint does come off, as we need to decorate at some point anyway - don't think it's been decorated since the first owners moved in in the 60s).
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Right, have just got back from taking bub to be weighed - little fatty weighs 10lb 1oz when last Thurs he was 9lb 2 1/2oz! health visitor says that now he has come up to his due date (he was 4 weeks early and quite poorly) and is doing well I dont have to wake him every 4 hours to feed, I can let him wake up when he wants it in the night, which I hope means more sleep for me! Going to stick to 4 hourly feeds during the day though as it gives me a bit of a structure to go by.

Just about to do a HHC to at least get Level One done today, and maybe bits of level 2...we shall see.

    Be back later x
    So, there are these boys,

Had desperado phone call from OH :rotfl:who is back at home, to say yesterdays wandering cat is back, now in the garage (as OH left door open):rotfl: has curled up and gone to sleep on a rug in there! He wants to know what he should do!, :rotfl::rotfl:and should he feed it.

I have said if it is asleep, it is not hungry and not to feed it anyway or it will always be coming round, and leave the garage door open, so it can wander off when it wakes up!!! :D:D:D common sense really!

    Hi all.

Running 'orribly late today, what with Penny to see to, and I had a large envelope of membership renewal stuff to process comer in the post this morning, so getting a bit panicky as I'm not certain I'll get today's list all done.:(
So..... just a few quick replies before I start on the next round (currently having an enforced sit-down, as my left knee let me down badly.... with a thump on the kitchen floor!!)

Natty oh, I sympathise, I don't do strangers or enclosed spaces with people, either. I do hope it all went well for you. (((HUG)))

Roundtuit much sympathy re unexpected visitors. I can't be doing with people turning up unannounced, and I'm afraid they don't get invited in! But then, anyone who knows me well enough to have any business calling here will know that.....

Rach I agree with Dustykitten and Toots, hire/borrow a wheelchair. There is absolutely no point in forcing yourself to stay on your feet – be kind to yourself!:o

Sexymouse I'm glad your back's OK, and pleased to hear that Moon is doing something about the [STRIKE]safety hazard[/STRIKE] garage.

Right, going to force myself to go and get on now - I think first order of business is take Penny out - will take membership stuff up to post box so that folks get their shiny new cards asap.:o

kazwookie - a few years ago we had a cat that kept hanging around. I went over to the local newsagents and looked at the notices in the window and found one for a missing cat and rang up the owners and it was theirs. You could try ringing local vets too, some people try them if their cat goes missing. Would get it out of your way ;)

Tuesday ~ Kitchen and Dining area ALL DONE

In a bit of a CBA mood today. My arthritis is really giving me gip. Went shopping and for lunch with DD, GGD1 and DDs friend. We had a Youve Been Framed moment in Mr A. Friend picks up 4 pint carton of milk. Drops it and it bursts splattering everyone with milk. I wish I had a photo of everyones faces. I was doubled over laughing till I cried. DD and GGD1 just looked stunned then started laughing. Her poor friend got the worst of it from top to toe. Staff were very helpful when they werent laughing lol.

Just decluttering a cuppa then have some paperwork to sort out.

Dusty Glad you have had a good time.
AnWsMum. Nice to see you back and you have all had a good time.
    Natty Hugs.
sexymouse Glad your back is ok and Moon is sorting the garage out.
kazwookie Ooh it looks like it wants to move in. Thats how I got Jake but someone had thrown him out.
