Got most of what I wanted done, and even cleaned upstairs mirrors :j
Will hoover and decobweb tomorrow when I have the energy to drag the hoover up the stairs and do DS's room at the same time.

Tired now, but have to feed and bath kids and get ds1 to bed before I can crash but I can feel my eyes drooping...
    So, there are these boys,
    They kinda stole my heart,
    They call me Mummy

    Hello Ladies,

I did a good moring's ironing before I dropped DD1 off at her job interview. She texted me after half an hour telling me she was shortlisted! I picked her up and she was so happy. The lady interviewing her initially told her they would be writing to successful applicants but the lady was so impressed that she fixed the 2nd interview for Tuesday morning. :j

I had a rather uncomfortable visit to the doctors for a smear test and it hurt so much:(. I have terrible backache which ibuprofen hasn't shifted. I am waiting for the little ones to go to bed so I can have a large glass of pain numbing wine.

DH away tonight so I've not done the list today, hopefully my back will be better tomorrow and I can get on with flipping that mattress!

Natty - Lovely to see you post. Sorry you're having a rough time, you've got a good DH looking after you:).

Rach - Have you tried evening primrose oil if you are having problems with your joints? I had terrible problems with my knees with DS2 from 30 weeks and it really helped.

kazwookie - the best cats are the ones that choose their owners but I understand your reservations!

Sexy/Froddy/LadyL - hope you had a good time. I was with you in spirit.

    Level 2

15 minutes floordrobe clearance No floordrobe!:p
    Level 3

Sort one area of clothes or linen storage making sure only what should be in there is, anything that's had it's day or doesn't belong there is removed Got Mr LW to check & tidy towel shelf (it's the top shelf of airing cupboard, so difficult for me to get to);)

    Extras

    1. Binbag dance! Done
    2. Wipe grotty paintwork.. touch up any bits that are looking shabby Cleaned all I can get to.
    3. Wash windows Done at Level 2 – I'm not doing any more of 'em! *stamps foot petulantly*:D
    4. HHI HHWii instead

tut tut LW.. you should only cook with wine that's good enough to drink ;);)

which is probably why I hardly ever cook with wine.. it's usually all been drunk before it gets near the oven :rotfl::rotfl:

been flinging lots of gibble today - a job I can do one-handed! Hospital appt tomorrow for X rays to check that my fracture hasnt moved.. the sensation is slightly different in the broken arm, but I don't know if that's because of swelling & bruising, or whether there's some nerve issues.. hopefully the former. We'll see. I do have v impressive bruising - the whole of the arm from elbow to shoulder is black  nice!

    hope everyone is ok

    Hi Everyone,

My name is Max(ine) and I'm a newbie. I've been lurking whilst at work, but daren't post from there! I've tried to keep up with the level 1 stuff this week. I have a 3 day weekend ahead of me now, which I always do :j, so I am going to try and do the level 2 stuff. I am sooo glad that I have the lists to go by, because I get overwhelmed and don't know where to start. That means I delay starting until Sunday night when I'm kicking myself!
I don't know why the place gets so messy? There is only myself, DH (I'm learning the lingo :)) and our 3 gorgeous cats! We are untidy though. I blame DH and he blames me, but in reality we're both as bad as each other!
I've loved reading about everyone's days, and it's really inspired me! THANK YOU

Welcome Maxine, here's a:xmastree:so you are noticed.

I've just spent ages making a flylady master sheet from Pigpen's excellent and very thorough lists :Tbecause I think it may suit me better. We have 14 rooms and I find trying to do them all in a week a bit of a stretch (especially in the holidays). They don't all get dirty at the same rate and I like cleaning some of them less than others so tend to put them off. I try and do the less messy ones on a rota and can't ever remember where I'm up to. :o

Well I thought it was a good idea but everyone in the house has gone past me and had a good laugh

Have got loads done today but too much to mention, it's looking okay and I'll carry on tomorrow.

    Thanks so much everyone.

right, go S&S the kitchen NOW so that you feel you've done something, then go to bed, seeing as you're tired. Tomorrow, after you've had tea, set an alarm for 15 minutes, & see how much you can get done :-)

we all have CBA days/weeks.. But it can be done :)

    onestep

Thanks onestep just the kick I needed last night. I saw your message, s & s'd the kitchen then went up to bed and put away the chairdrobe before going to bed.
Tonight I've put away the washing up, tidied the hall, done surveys (offered 3 accepted to complete 1), just updating my mp3 player then going to get my things sorted ready for tomorrow. Not a lot I know but little by little...
