Well I got level 1 and 2 done, and I'm pleased with that :) but then OH came in in a foul mood and had a go at me saying the house was a mess. I know I'm not the tidiest person but I have made a real effort lately but nothing is good enough for him it seems :( Then, while I was crashing around in the kitchen showing how cross I was and resisting the urge to spit in his dinner, he was on my laptop, because hisis "too slow" apparently, and left it propped on its side on the floor. While we were eating dinner he knocked it over and now it wont boot up :( So I have a broken laptop and a colicky, unsettled baby and I really don't want to go and sleep in the same bed as him :( Le Sigh

Anyway, as he'll probably take his laptop to work tomorrow I need to scribble down tomorrows list so I can still get it done, although I feel like a total drudge and a doormat and I want to rebel, but that's just hurting myself in the long run so I'll be a good girl and behave! Night night everyone x

hugs for you - hope OH wakes up in a better mood!

I know what you mean about trying - and then people moaning that the house is a mess! It makes you want to give up!

I didn't give up - and I can now see the difference - and just occasionally I get the odd compliment too!

And colicky babies do tend to grow out of it.........good luck.

Got a lot to catch up on today - wasn't feeling too good last week and things slipped. Youngest out all day so I'd better use my time wisely!:rotfl:

Sounds he was in a rough mood and you couldn't win either way. Dust yourself down and get your house sorted for you. You will feel better.
I'm finding flylady hard (get nowhere near the top level) but I want to get the house up to a tidy enough level for a cleaner to come in (hopefully that made you smile, it tickles me even though its true!).
    Keep the faith.

    Off to attack the bathroom.

    Hi all
Have not had time to catch up - had a particularly unenjoyable visit yesterday and spent the evening feeling sorry for myself. Had a definite CBA feeling...Hope everyone is doing OK?

    Anyway, here's yesterdays list:

Tuesday ~ Kitchen and Dining area
    Level One
    Sweep and mop the floor
    [STRIKE]Clear and wipe worksurfaces
    Clean the sink![/STRIKE]
    Level Two
Wipe fronts of appliances and units
Wipe small appliances and replace.. make sure the inside of microwave etc are sparkly and hygienic!
[STRIKE]Wipe table and replace cloth if needed[/STRIKE]
    Level Three
    Clear and wipe window sills
    Clean out the fridge thoroughly
    Wipe over oven and [STRIKE]hob[/STRIKE].

So, didn't get much done. Don't know about you, though, but I find the kitchen an ongoing issue...as soon as it's tidy someone comes along and makes a mess!

Right, I'm off. Chin up and keep going.
    Take care
    D

    Morning All

Hugs hellyboo - hope you have a better day today.

    Welcome back anw'smum

I have no kids pretty much all day today but I have got to go to the dentist at lunchtime for a filling - hence why I've got no kids - and I need to go to Carphone Warehouse to sort out a dongle.

Here's the list - which I hope looks okay as I'm on my laptop and it's showing all the abbreviations for the colour, etc so it's taken me ages just to delete the things I've done.
