Was WOKEN at 8.30 this morning by the doorbell. Thought it was part of my dream. Came to, thought "I don't think I'm expecting anything", opened the door - and there were DSIL, DGS4 and DGD5!
I'm doing a bit of child care today! Will take them out later, but they are chilling out on the sofa ATM, exhausted as just back from their hols. So, must do a bit of Flying.
Have had a go at the bathroom, but not much more than a S&S - gave it a thorough go last week. Need to do the spare bedroom today, as DGS1 is coming tomorrow to spend a night.
Good luck with your day everyone!Keeping two cats and myself on a small budget, and enjoying life while we're at it!0 -
its hospital day for me, so i'm bra-less, feels very strange but at least my knees are warm.
wishing well base done including card slot. Needs covering with patterned paper but I would say I'm a third of the way there with completion planned out in my head...I;m definitely a 'think things through' person and can mentally plan a project and 'walk through it' in my head - a real skill IMHO I have photos of the project to show you later. The base is a hexagonal prism;)
what do you think of this verse to put on the Wishing Well? (what I wote my self *glow*)Thank you for coming to join in the fun
And celebrate with us as two become one.
Please deposit your cards and your wishes inside
And I'll keep them safe for the Groom and the Bride.
have been on hold to tax credits for 17 mins now - this is one handed typing!
wahey 19+ minutes and I am talking to a person..
Job done!
Welcome home AnWs - perfect drying weather - warm and windy. I have washing out and it is drying beautifully!

Level one and a few other bits done. Going to make DS1 lunch, and do dishes while he eats, then hoover living room floor before putting him down for a nap, then while he's napping mop the living room floor and feed myself and bub, and give the laptop a wipe
Someone told me about this air spray you can get for cleaning crumbs from under keys on a keyboard, but everywhere I've looked it's really expensive - I'm not spending £10 on a can of air! Does anyone know where I can get it cheaper? So, there are these boys,
They kinda stole my heart,
They call me Mummy

Having said that I find the patented Valli method MUCH more effective.
Shut down PC and disconnect keyboard (if a PC). Take it outside and invert and, using a stiff dry clean paintbrush vigorously (sp?) brush the keyboard. With a lappy I would have two people - one to hold firmly and one to brush.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
