  • Was WOKEN at 8.30 this morning by the doorbell. Thought it was part of my dream. Came to, thought "I don't think I'm expecting anything", opened the door - and there were DSIL, DGS4 and DGD5!

I'm doing a bit of child care today! Will take them out later, but they are chilling out on the sofa ATM, exhausted as just back from their hols. So, must do a bit of Flying.

Have had a go at the bathroom, but not much more than a S&S - gave it a thorough go last week. Need to do the spare bedroom today, as DGS1 is coming tomorrow to spend a night.

Good luck with your day everyone!

wishing well base done including card slot. Needs covering with patterned paper but I would say I'm a third of the way there with completion planned out in my head...I;m definitely a 'think things through' person and can mentally plan a project and 'walk through it' in my head - a real skill IMHO I have photos of the project to show you later. The base is a hexagonal prism;)

what do you think of this verse to put on the Wishing Well? (what I wote my self *glow*)

Level one and a few other bits done. Going to make DS1 lunch, and do dishes while he eats, then hoover living room floor before putting him down for a nap, then while he's napping mop the living room floor and feed myself and bub, and give the laptop a wipe :)

Someone told me about this air spray you can get for cleaning crumbs from under keys on a keyboard, but everywhere I've looked it's really expensive - I'm not spending £10 on a can of air! Does anyone know where I can get it cheaper?
    So, there are these boys,

I'm hoping it was a small toy and not a Barbie or something.....

I got mine reduced in Wilkos but their's is the cheapest I have found even at full price.

Having said that I find the patented Valli method MUCH more effective.
Shut down PC and disconnect keyboard (if a PC). Take it outside and invert and, using a stiff dry clean paintbrush vigorously (sp?) brush the keyboard. With a lappy I would have two people - one to hold firmly and one to brush.
