Oh.. back room decluttered of a dead mouse... which was VERY flat after I STOOD ON IT BAREFOOT!!!!!!
Bedroom bin emptied
Baby fed and dressed
DD1 hoofed out of bed
MRI appt for 7of9 chased
I tried registering baby at docs.. but.. mine is crap so I wanted her at the one where OH is registered.. and would you believe they won't accept her without me as well.. even though OH is there.. how discriminatory is that?!?! What if she lived with him? Would they still want me there as well? What if I was dead? honestly.. it is disgusting!!! I may write to the practice manager and complain!! I cannot change DS2 from the surgery we are at as noone will have him because he is so expensive.. so would the surgery we are registered at now kick all the children off their books if I moved just me as it would be the same scenario really? And why would I want to move just me? the good news is it was already dead:rotfl:
Good news for the mouse!!! lol.. It was laid on its back.. belly up so was quite amusing..
Time to get me dressed and I am considering summoning the energy to take a few children for school shoes.. I may need to count spoons! I thought taking 4, 5 and 6 would make things easier at home as they are the ones who cause most hassle.. that means 3 pairs of shoes and 1 pair of trainers which I can afford today.. and I'll sort the others on Friday.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Well done Holly,
In my HHC, I cleared desk of gibble, did filing, shredding, cleared top of cabinet - hot spot, answered 3 phone calls and made a cuppa, then was grossed out by Pigpen and also puzzled by Drs surgery response, used to work in records at a large practice and don't think we ever turned anyone away except for 1 chap who attacked people! The practice manager may be able to help and should certainly take your request to the docs.
Not much done then so am off again.

lovely poem valli!
pigpen aw that's nasty, hate finding dead mouse, but as i have two cats, it's just part of the norm here.
I had the same thing happen to me with both of mine. In the end i changed us all to OH's doctors.
well the kitchen is clean finally, just sprained my knee again doing it, ouch.Good job i'm at the physio next week for it.
Oh and whillst cleaning the said kitchen tommy the fat fluffball just walked in, looked at the biscuits in his bowls, wowled and me in and walked out. Thought yep go on clear off, he then walked in jumped on the oven and dropped a nother dead bird in the pan. But the cheek of it all is he then jumps down tips his blumming biscuits on the floor and starts wowling at me. The cheeky get, i'm telling ya he's worse than the kids. Well he can swan off. So now the said dead bird is in the big bin outside.
update of list so far.

Thanks for the poem feedback...the first two lines were easy...took me ages to come up with the last two...
we are taking in two 'excess' gerbils tonight so we needed another cage so I dragged DD to the garden centre (at the bottom of Whit Hill for locals) and we found one there differetn from pets at home ones and a bit cheaper...but it was the only one in stock and was somewhat shop soiled and slightly scratched. Cue valli in haggle mode and DD embarrassed but instructed to watch and learn. Took it to the kid on the till (who looked about 14, seriously,) and pointed out scratched. Till kid despatched with DD to confirm there were no more
Till kid 'would it be alright then?'
Valli 'Can I speak to a supervisor?'
Uniformed person brought and 10% discount offered and accepted
On way home advised DD as to 'mark up' in shops and therefore NOT to feel we were eating into their profits!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
